ManCat Monday

As anyone who has ever been around a cat for any length of time well knows cats have enormous patience with the limitations of the human kind. - Cleveland Amory

Yeah, sometimes it takes furrever for our beans to figure out what we want. Foods, scritches, cuddling under the covers, treats or playtime.

I made my own playtime the other evening. Mum was working on making more of those pink hats. More? You only have one head mum. She said these are for other beans who are donating green papers to a human lady health thing.

So you can see me playing away here.
In other news, oh man has it been nice out. Open windows for me to sniff the wonderful fresh air and for mum to get outside and enjoy the sunshine.

Mum sitting outside with her funky shoes and laces. Well, not laces, but stretchy things that hold the shoe closed. That way mum can just pull on her shoes and not have to tie laces with her wonky fingers. She likes them.
Grilled beast! This was a big chunk of beast so mum will have several meals from it. When it was done she cut off some pieces for me, along with some of the juices. YUMMY!
We have been watching for signs of spring. First, all of our snow is GONE! Second mum saw one of her spring birds, Mr Grackle. Plus she has been hearing a red winged blackbird, but hasn't seen it yet. Plus she heard sand hill cranes on Sunday afternoon.

Mum says we are likely to get more winter like weather, but we are happy to get this lovely bit of days now to enjoy. Mum goes out walking with short sleeves and no jacket!

Everyone have a good week.

  3. What a fabulous movie, Ducky. Loads of action, a bit of suspense and glorious background music.

It's nice to hear that you and your mum are enjoying some of the simple things in life.

  4. Isn't grilled beast a sign of spring, Ducky?

We have to update something or other before we can watch the movie.

  7. Have fun with the yarn Ducky! Sasha and Saku both love chasing a ball too. (Sami is a little/lot lazy).

We've had sunshine too and the mo bean was able to clear the driveway of all of the snow. AND we got to go out in the sunny room today when she got home from chasing green papers.

Have a great rest of the week!
