Garden Thursday

 ::MEOW::

It's Virginer welcoming you to another Garden Thursday. We had the hots over the weekend, but today it got cold again. Mum even put on real shoes with socks!

Enough about that, let's get back to the garden. The poppies are popping and the pee-o-knees are in full bloom.

 Remember last week I showed you how mum cut up her yarns for the fevvers. We saw one little on trying to pull out that long string. Guess what. Mum went and cut them up even shorter, then put them in some mesh stuff.

 Looks good mum, that should help the fevvers be able to pull them out. I'll just sit here and wait for them to fly close. Yep, yummy little fevvers, really close to me. Can't wait.
That is all for this week, see you soon. Love, Virginger

Our Weekend

This is how we spent our holliday weekend. Lots of nap, snoozing on mum's freshly washed sheets, nice.

Ducky sitting on mum, getting loves. Mum trying to read her ebook.

Yeah, lets just walk in front of her, get between her and that thing, pay more attention to me will ya?
No? Well this is the south end of a cat going north! See ya later baby.

Friday

 We have said farewell to our lovely lady furiend Parker. She has been a good furiend for years, but she knew it was her time to go. Smoochies, say hello to all of our furiends who have gone before. We are getting all leaky eyed just thinking about her.
.
The, little Miss Arty Mouse, has runned out of her house and has not been found. We wants you home safe, your mum wants you home safe. So get your furry little butt home, now. It is no fun living out in the real world.

Garden Thursday

::MEOW::

Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday

First I am happy to say that mum got a bunch of stuff done outside this past week, or stuff to help us with outside.

First she cut short lengths of all of her left over yarns from her projects.....
....untwisted it into the thin little strings........

....then put it into a cage so the fevvers can come and get the colored strings for their nests. So they can be comfy with their babies.

Mum finally bought flowers for the outside. So the pet-unias are now in the flower boxes.

Then the big tire filled with impatients!
The first pee-o-knees are opening too.

Me, I have moved to the back yard to snoopervise and see what is going on back here. The front side of the house is sort of boring.Here mum has just hung up the newly filled hummer feeder.
One of the hanging baskets with impatients.
Pink roses!
More growth on the trumpet vine.
Then mum sat down and we watched the hummer feeder and we didn't wait long for one to show up.
Picture is fuzzy since she took it with the little flashy box that doesn't zoom well. But on the left side is a hummer! And they do make a hum or buzzy sound when they zip by you as they fly.

Lots happening, hope you enjoyed. For those in Meriky, everyone have a safe holliday weekend.

Love, Virginger.

P.S. Send purrs and purrayers to Parker and her beans. She is heading for The Bridge today. We are leaky eyed and will miss her. Smoochies to you Parker!

Mini ManCat Monday

  In any room, in any situation, a cat will seek out the most comfortable spot. - Author Unknown

We were having a nice nap on mum's bed on Caturday. The windows were wide open, it was all nice and warms.

 After mum took our pictures, she went to the cooking room and opened TUNA for us. We didn't get much and Derby's had extra pink sprinkles on it. He ate it anyway, then he got put in the PTU. Yep, time for his trip to the V-E-T. Like last  year, mum had to slip him a mickey so he would cooperate with the V-E-T.
 You can read how it went last year, sort of the same this year. Two shots this year, I am healthy, come back in a year.

I am glad I don't fight when I go to the vet and don't have to get a mickey pill before I go.

Garden Thursday

::MEOW::

Hi, it is me, Virginger, ready to take you all outside into the garden. Things are starting to show up and more things are blooming. So here we go!
A few weeks ago all you could see were these little nobs coming out of the ground. And now they are
pretty green ferns. Mum likes these things, says they hide all sorts of icky stuff.
The pee-o-knees right behind the house with the flower buds starting to get bigger.
The grapevine finally getting some leaves.
The varigated leaf, red twigged dogwood all pretty and leafed out.
More pee-o-knees by the fence.
The alliums blooming
The trumpet vine finally showing some bit of life with new leaves.
A bit of a fuzzy picture, but rose buds!
Finally, if you can make them out, the alien head shaped, poppy buds. That is all for now, we are happy, we thinks the nice weather is here to stay. Mum is even keeping the windows open just a little bit overnight. The boys get lots of window wiffing!

See you next week.

Love Virginger.

Straw Hat Day

We are not kitties that wear hats, or collars or human clothes of any type. We prefer nekkid! But if you like, by all means wear them.

We have a couple of mum days! She is home, working the washing machine like crazy, windows open for us to have our wiffs! Life is good!
