This is my new hidey spot. When it was a noisey rain a few weeks ago, I did't like it and ran behind the couch. Mum then didn't see me until she looked UNDER the couch.
With the little skirt down you can't see underneath directly and a bean has to get down on their hands and knees to see under. But mum lifted it up and there I was, this picture was taken after the fact, I had left my hidey spot. This is a recliner love seat so there is a bunch of room for me to move into. But my hidey spot didn't last long, as a secret. Guess I will have to find a new one!
Maybe I will move back to the shredded paper collector box!
We all need secret spots but the humans appear to be very good at finding them. After 10 years I am running out of them.
ReplyDeleteHow is the feetsball going?
It's smart to keep your human guessing, so you should go ahead and find yourself another hidey spot. Doesn't matter if it's new or not, just that it's different. Humans get confused easily...
ReplyDeleteWe have a recliner couch too and it's great to hide in. If The Mommy can't find Sassy in sight or under the bed, then she knows that where Sassy is...she won't bother her (usually Sassy is hiding from Pixie), she just likes knowing.
ReplyDeletePurrs and hugs,

Y'know...we recently discovered under the couch makes a great hiding spot too...but the humans always seem to find us...we hope you can find another great hiding spot!
ReplyDeleteExcellent Hidey! And great idea on the Mo Cats Holiday.
ReplyDeletewe all needs those hidey spots and sometimes keeping a favorite blanky or toy hidden in hidey spot helps too. or is that just me? hm.
ReplyDeleteYou hide like a spy Derby!
ReplyDeleteThat's a good hidey spot, Derby. You can keep your human confused by using lots of different hidey spots. I really liked the time that you hid in plain sight by curling up with the stuffies.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you keep yours beans on them's toes. That's good. always keep 'em guessing.
ReplyDeleteGood job on tha 'Mo Cats hollyday.
Love & Purrs,
KC
That is a great hidey spot Derby. I keep hiding from mum and she still doesn't know where I go, but she knows it's indoors somewhere. Next time I hide, she will know where to look for me.

Hoomins do like to know where we are! But that is a good spot, Derby... but maybe now you could move back since she's already looked. Surely she would never look for you TWICE in the same place, would she ? :)
ReplyDeleteThat's a great hiding spot. Maybe if you pretend not to be interested in it for a while, the humans will forget.
ReplyDeleteHidey spots are always fun to find. I like the get under Dad's pants in the closet. They hang low and make a great spot to blend in. As an added bonus, I get to leave my furs on them.
