Oh behalf of Grampie I thank you for the purrthday wishes for him.Yes he look pretty good for an old guy, most people don't think he is as old as he is. Mum can only wish she looks that good at that age, if she gets to that age.

BTW, Grampie does not live with us, he is in a place that is just for seniors, an independent living place. They cook one meal a day for them, which they eat in a nice dining room. But you have to be good enough to do your other two meals, take care of yourself with getting dressed and such. He is only about 15 minutes away so close enough to get him over here or for mum to stop over there.

The Colts - playing Sunday night, they is winning now. Mum doesn't think she will stay up for the end.

Mum is bummed, she was watching the PBS show on the parks and the feed just stopped a couple of times for several minutes.

Happy Purrthday Grampie

Happy Purrthday to my Grampie today. Lots of loving purrs to you. I will take a nap for every year you are old today. What? Mum says that I will need 94 naps! I better get started!

Dr Derby, Still on Call

Well, mum's sniffy, sneezies is now coughy, scratchy, squeekey voice. She sounds funny when she talks. It is getting better, she is sleeping more, but still not 100%. Drinking lots of orange stuff, morning and night.

My paws are full purring on her and making her go to beds on time. Gandalf, Grayson and Whitey said my video put their mum to sleeep, maybe I need mum to watch it a few more times.

I have been busy this past week keeping track of mum. She has the sniffy, sneezies, hasn't been sleeping well at night. That means she is all tired and crabilated when she comes home from day hunting. Caturday she took two naps! Sunday, she didn't do much more than she absolutely had to.

One thing that mum did work on yesterday was to start making some more movies of the stuff she has taken of me. So every couple of weeks I will share them with you.

Me sitting in the front window last weekend, warm, open windows, just enjoying the last bits of good summer weather. We is finally getting some rain now after three weeks of having no rain and really nice temperatures for this time of the year.

New HollyDay

I would have never believed it but I am the cause of a new hollyday for the Cat Blogoshpere. Well mainly because I don't belived in No Cats Day, but Mo Cats Day. KC amnnouced it earlier today at the CB.
So some silly bean didn't want cats on his innerwebs, well now he will have them all over the places. Every day, but specially on Sept 9, every year, from here to eternity. Hey, that is a cool movie title.

Hidey Spot

This is my new hidey spot. When it was a noisey rain a few weeks ago, I did't like it and ran behind the couch. Mum then didn't see me until she looked UNDER the couch.
With the little skirt down you can't see underneath directly and a bean has to get down on their hands and knees to see under.But mum lifted it up and there I was, this picture was taken after the fact, I had left my hidey spot. This is a recliner love seat so there is a bunch of room for me to move into. But my hidey spot didn't last long, as a secret. Guess I will have to find a new one!
Maybe I will move back to the shredded paper collector box!

ManCat Monday

Ah, yes the comforts of home. Foods, nice places to nap, scritches, but gosh I sure wish I could get outside the house. Mum caught me trying to get out around Grampie's legs when he was over yesterday afternoon. Sheesh, mum is too quick for me!

Mum and Grampie didn't watch much feetsball during the daytime, said it was too nice a day to stay inside and watch the moving picture box. But the Packer game was after dark so mum watched, cheered, yelled, moaned. We could even hear the neighbors cheering too at the end of the game.

Mum and I thank you very much for your kind words on our first video. Mum will have to work through some more, or maybe just post the short snips that she gets of me!
As you can see the movie box is close by most of the time. She has stuff taken, but needs to edit stuff. She has an idea for the next movie, but needs time to work on it.

Mum also thanks you for saying her painting looks good. She tries hard, Grampie was impressed but she does get a bit messy when she does this. Here is a picture of her shirt, all those blue blotches are from this weekend. She blacked out the logo of her old company, she figured she could mess this shirt up, she doesn't work there anymore.
So on Monday mum and Grampie sat under the patio, me inside and we all just chilled. The most work mum did was to fix lunch and dinner.

A few weeks ago I told you mum bought some stuff to help out a bean at work with a brain tumor. Well I showed you the bread and soup mix, but here is the other thing she got!

Yep, a mini movie camera. She managed to get it for less than it would have cost her in a store, plus she outbid her boss by one green paper. He wasn't mad about it though.

So mum has taken some moving pictures of me and figured out, at least a little bit on how to make a movie.

I hope the movie works right, sometimes it wants to stop in the middle, don't know why.

So my World Movie Premier, which fits with our Ham Tour!

She was busy all weekend doing other stuff. Mainly painting our patio! She came home early from day hunting on Friday, they let them out early for the weekened. So she got busy, moved all of the chairs out and took a before picture.

Werld Ham Tour

Oooofff, I am stuffed tonight. I love ham and I gots my fill today at the Smith Fields ham making spot. I am glad I can sit in the back of the weener mobile and sleep.

Let's see, our tour guide say we go see a Porkyopolus place by Mr Hendrix on Friday, then off to Wiskerconsin to the Oscar M Plant. We can't tour the plant near me, that is the one that burned a couple of months ago.

Miles and Victor a doing a great job on this tour. I better get a nap in, tomorrow will be a busy day.
