Garden Thursday
Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday, our first of 2012. It's me Virginger, and mum made me pose for a really nice portrait shot for my posts.
It is a good time to start Garden Thursday as our snow is gone. Totally, completely. Nothing even hiding in the hidey spots under the trees. It was up to 65F(18C), so the stuff just went poof!
Below is what little was left this morning in the front and back of the house. All gone!
So when mum came home from day hunting, we went out to inspect for signs of spring, beyond the snow going away.

wow, you are lucky to have nice temperatures like that. We had one day of snow, enough to go sledging, the it went the next day but..... apart from a few spring like days we have had a very coooooold wind a-blowing. We have got lots of spring flowers about though and pretty blossom on the trees. Ducky obviously thinks you need a bit of a clean after your wander around the garden :)xx
ReplyDeleteHasn't this weather been wierd? The upshot of all of this is that we've had the windows open to air things out!
ReplyDeleteHoly carp! All your snow (and you got a lot!) sure did melt fast! Got up to 68 here yesterday.
ReplyDeleteWe are glad you have signs of spring. We are hoping!
ReplyDeleteHello Virginger!
ReplyDeleteIt's a bit too early to even start talking/thinking about gardening here in Colorado. But the carrots and swiss chard planted last year are starting to pop up from the ground. Our daffodils, tulips, and hyacinths haven't popped yet.
Yayyy Virginger! We're glad to see you back in your garden. Was Ducky sniffing your butt? Flynn has to do that to me when we go back indoors.
