Fang Shui Friday

When in the garden, savor the colors of its inhabitants. Nature's colorful creatures have great healing properties and can sooth the spirit and the stomach.

From Fang Shui by Catfucious, Peter Pauper Press, 2002.

Buns, birdies and chippies! I can see them, I can hear them, but I can't actually get at them. So I doubt very much they will be be soothing my stomach.
Purrthday Party Details

Saturday October 20. Starting at Noon, US Central Time on Chatzy. To figure out what time that is in your part of the world, check out the
time converter.

Everyone welcome. Details with the Chatzy link will be on tomorrow's post. Hope you can stop by.

Flower Friday

Not really a flower, but one of our tree leaves that is turning red. It is that time of the year when the trees go from green, to yellow or red, then fall off the tree. Then mum has to go outside and clean off the yard.
Award

One of our new blogging gang,
Tybalt, gave me this award. Thank you. If you haven't met Tybalt yet, please drop by and say hello!

  4. The garden can certainly smooth my spirit, but not my stomach, since I'm an indoor-only cat.

Noon central is 7PM Munich time. I'll try to be at the party if I can get my humans to help me with the computer at that time!

  5. Congratulations on your award. You really deserve it. I like your Fang Shui, but it's true that the outside critters won't be soothing your stomach. They can be really fun to watch, though. I may be able to drop by your party for a while before I go to work.

  13. We have a nasty little chippy at our house. When we are out with mom he comes and taunts us, then runs to hide in his hole.

  15. Those are some great pics! I bet it is frustrating not to be able to get all of that peaceful wildlife. It makes for interesting watching, though!

Mommy is leaving me this weekend, so I have to stay home and be my responsible princely self. :( I plan on catching up on what went on during your party next week.

Happy Birthday in advance, Derby! I hope you have a great year ahead of you, filled with purrs and tummy rubs!

  18. Yes, yes, yes, I will be there. I can hardly wait to meet everyone. I see some cats that have visited my blog and even though I am new at this I know I will have a great time. See you Saturday!

By the way I really like the color of your blog. It is good for the month of October to go pink. I tried that when I first set up my blog but it didn't work out so good.
