Funky Fang Shui Friday

Beware of super powers that you might have. Flying is best left to the birds.
First thank you to all of the Cat Blogosphere who purred for Grampie. It worked, he is back home. They had to give him medicine to get his inside all working right again. Then slowly get him back to eating real foods.

Mum would get up early and work, go to the bean hospital, come home and work, go to the bean hospital, come home to work, then go to bed. I think she will be happy the weekend will be here real soon.

Second thing, it was nice enough that mum could open the window for a bit. It was so nice to smell the outside again.
Because it was so nice to open the windows it was all melty. There are a few patches where you can begin to see the grass again in spots. Plus the people across the street were outside playing catch in the street. Mum even went outside without her coat on to check on things. Maybe spring will finally get here!

Belated Happy Purrthday to Uncle Stormy in OK. His purrthday was yesterday.

Happy Weekend Everyone!

  6. We are glad that your grampie is doing better and that he is now at home. That is so good that you got to sniff the outside. Mom doesn't open our windoes that much for us - she says it messes up the AC.

  10. We're glad your grampie is feeling much better is back home.

It's good you got to smell fresh air. We had two inches of "snow dusting" this morning. Though the sun is back out, we don't think we'll be opening any windows soon.

  11. Oh, Derby, you look so cute, pointng your tosies.

Momma let me out on the porch today. I stood on the dry part, and barely put my tosies on the wet part and looked at the white stuff there, getting all dirty, now. Momma needs to clean it off afore I go out there again.

  15. I'm thankful your Grampie is home and getting better, Derby. Now your mom can rest a little more and maybe things will settle down around your house.

A snootful of spring just sets you up right, doesn't it?

  16. I'm sorry your Grampie's belly hurt so bad. I'm glad to hear he's going to be okay and has medicine to help him.

Oh, isn't fresh air wonderful? I'm glad you had a nice day. We've had lots of heavy rain for two days. But once in a while the sun peeks through for a minute or two.

    Hugs...G

  21. Derby,

Thanks for visiting my blog. As to me, I'm a loveable, big white cat with a keen sense of adventure and a slashing sense of humor. I'm part Siamese, which accounts for my extensive vocabulary and baby blue eyes, and the other part of me is flat-out, take-no-prisoners tomcat. I live in Burbank, California (where we don't get much snow!) with my human, Steve, and Steve's female, Judy. Here's a really big purr for your grampie.

  22. oh, derby, we missed the whole "grampie" thing while dealin' wif a "grandma" thing of our own. ours had a thigh-rhoid prollem that made it seem like she had had a heart attack. but it wasn't. so we is glad all the "grands" are back in working order!!

you are right about that lady wif the 6 cats from inverness. we fink she bears watching; click on her "cookie blakely" blurbs an' see if you can find one in print.

it's been so nice here that two days this week when mom was home side, she opened the house door into the enclosed porch an' we got to go out an' sleep inna sunshines!! (that was refreshin'; she was gettin' lumpy . . .)
