Mum and I had a quiet weekend. Firsted it has gotten way too cool weatherwise around here. Mum shut all the windows on Caturday, as is was all cool, windy and sometimes rainy outside. She did lots an lots of laundry since she was just inside anyway.
Sunday was sunny but still cool. I teleported over to Billy Sweetfeets purrthday party for a while. Mum did work outside using the grass cutting monster, cleaning the birdie's baths and making sure they had lots of foods. We sat and watched birdies for a few minutes, we are starting to see birdies coming back through to go south! That means (shutter) winter is coming on.
Mums says Grampie will be coming over tonight to watch Brett the Viking on the moving picture box. We want to see the old man and how good he is playing.
We have noticed that winter is on it's way too.

Sniff, I don't want winter to come back yet. It's so cold and it lasts so long. My birdies have been really hungry lately, so I guess it's because colder weather is coming. Have fun watching Brett the Viking with Grampie.

ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the yucky weather. We had great weather and got to go outside twice this weekend! It's supposed to stay nice, though maybe some rain later in the week (probably not). We plan to enjoy it while we can before winter gets here and we never get to go out.

ReplyDeletePeople here are just going nuts over Farve. They think he's the Vikes savior or something. As you already know, mom prefers hockey and thinks football is nonsense.

Hi Derby, glad to hear you had a nice weekend. So glad to hear your Grampie is doing O.K and passed all his tests. Hope you enjoyed the movie yesterday too. Mom had to think twice about birds going south but you live in Wisconsin and guess winter comes earlier for you. Mom says birds flying south here starts about October. Mom is tired of the heat so cold sounds good to her,

We have been having a litle bit of cool weather here too! Our birdies are still around at the feeder and bird bath. We have even had deer visitors drinking from the bird bath!
