ManCat Monday

Cats have an infallible understanding of concentration - and get between you and it. - Arthur Bridges

I want my choice of stuffs from the big cold box but mum mostly says I have no foods in there. I know you always have ham for me, where is it. I will move once you get the ham out!
Then you spend way too much time with the newsy paper, I will just lay on it so you pay attention to me.

Feetsball Report

The Pack - They won, mum said the team looked great, specially in the first half. But some injuries will affect the defense.

Brett and them Vikings - they won.

The Colts - They won and are still unbeaten! Gotta go leave Opus and his mum a message.

The basket that we got isn't really big enough to nap in, it is small and upright. Maybe a small kittie or kitten could fit in and nap, but not me. Right now the stuff that came in it are still still sitting inside it. So not enough room for me, maybe mum will try to see how well I don't fit.

Once the Packer game was done, mum went to the birdie food store and got lots of stuff so we can feed the fevvers all winter long. Then she pulled out her knitting to work on the blurpy blankie.

Mum is looking forward to a short day hunting week. That means she will be home with me!

Happy week everyone.

  6. We never get human food--we don't know what ham tastes like. And we are sure you can fit yourself in that basket; remember that cats ARE part liquid!

  8. That sounds like a great weekend for your mom Derby - everyone won. Not such a good report here (I bet you mom is happy that we lost - since our teams are mortal enemys - I am in Chicago so I am used to losing teams!)

I am surprised that the ham was not at your level so you can just grab it when you need to - that would make the most sense! We don't have ham at our house ever so my kitties are very jealous that you get it sometimes!

  13. We'd love to have control of the pantry cupboard where the fancy feast is stored. Then we could look over the selection and choose what ever we feel like eating that particular day.

  15. Why not learn to open the door yourself, Derby? That way you can have as much ham as you want.

Two of the "cats that came before" did that. One would open the door and the other one would climb the shelves!! Mom said our house was the only one that had cat hair in the 'frigerator.

  16. Hi-ya Derby!

I'm Katie and I don't think I've been here before. Nice to meet you! I'm a Minnesota cat so you can imagine there were lots of cheers and yells here when the Vikings won.

You are a very photogenic kitty and have a great blog.
