They did it again overnight, came into the yard, knocked down the jelly feeder and cleaned it out.
At least they leave the little cups and don't take them away.
Mum is going to leave it empty for a few days then put some more jelly in it. The hots are coming again, so we will stay inside and be cool. Yep, we are cool kitties in more way than one.
Glad you guys are inside and cool in this terrible heat...xoxo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteNaughty Raccoons!
ReplyDeleteGlad you guys are keeping cool in the hots
Raccoons are cute, but boy, they can be a real nuisance--and nasty to boot!
ReplyDeleteIs there raccoon food to keep them away from the bird feeders?
ReplyDeleteMom is not familiar with a jelly feeder. What special birdies like it?
ReplyDeleteRaccoons are pesky. They have a right to live jsut like the rest of us, but when they interefere with the brids' food, they make us mad.
Those dang raccoons! They are well suited to their bandit masks!
ReplyDeleteWot norty racoons!
ReplyDeleteLooks like the jelly feeder may have to come inside for the overnight to keep the raccoons away. It's extra work, but the best way to avoid the daily clean-up.
ReplyDeleteWe're hot also, and staying cool. Stay cool also.
Well you do have to admit that jelly is tasty - so you can't 100% blame the racoons. It is too bad they just can't leave it alone though!
ReplyDeleteAnd we have the hots here again too - so we can understand about trying to stay cool!
Can you possibly hang the feeder higher?
ReplyDeleteStay cool friends!
Mean raccoons! Mebbe yer Mom could put spicy stuff init so they would get used ta ignorin it? TBT says that peppery stuff only bothers mammals.
ReplyDeleteWe get the same trouble with squirrels. They come and break the feeders.
ReplyDeleteWe are glad you are keeping cool.
Hey--a raccoon's gotta eat, man!
ReplyDeleteThose raccoons are just plain evil!! No more jelly for them!!!
ReplyDeleteyou two are the COOLEST kitties!!!
