The soft little ball of fur conceals a lion's heart. - Author Unknown
We found the hour in the clock on the weekend. We thinks mum did get some extra sleeps this weekend. She was also busy working outside on Caturday morning. Started cleaning up the flowers beds and taking the stuff off to the community compost pile. Then she blew the leaves off the lawn, today you couldn't tell she had done anything. Still lots of leaves on the trees yet here.
Once mum got that done she cleaned herself up, then readed books and worked on her new crowshay project. She had a little start on it last week.
Then during the Packer game she did lots on it to get a really good start. Mum says it keeps her from feeding her face during the game.
Me, I decided Ducky needed his ears cleaned out some. I pin him down good here when he sits on the back of the couch by mum. If he squeeks to mum that I got him, she makes me get off. You are spoiling my fun mum. He deserves to get squished now and then.
Feetball Report
Packers - still purrfect but mum was saying all sorts of words off the bad word list at the offense. The defense wonned this game for the team by getting two pick sixes, they only won by 7. They played out in Sandy Eggo in the rain. Heck we had better weather than they did!
Colts - now leading the race for the first draft pick next spring. Holding the dubious honor of the only team not to have won at least one game this season.
Grampa Brett - still retired.
Glad you found out what happend to that extra hour. We had ours last week and I think that was slept through too. If Ducky doesn't like you cleaning his ears Simba said you can come and clean his. He loves his ears being cleaned out. Mummy says she loves your mummies crochetting, its very pretty. Mummy has tried to learn to do that but ends up making knots hee he :)xx
ReplyDeleteOur Mom wanted to learn how to crochet but just doesn't have the patience for it. What is your Mom making? The colours are lovely.
ReplyDeleteWe like the crowshay! Beautiful colours! xx
ReplyDeleteThe crow-shay is in such bright happy colors! Tell Ducky he's lucky to have a brother who wants to clean his ears!
ReplyDeleteWe think you do a super job with the ear cleaning. Stygia never cleans my ears, but sometimes I pin her down and clean very deeply into hers. But mom never stops me, although Stygia sometimes gets some gumption and whaps me. UNgrateful!
ReplyDeleteWe didn't notice the extra hour--lol. But it was nice to have it a bit lighter getting up.
ReplyDeleteOut mom knits but never learned to crochet, always wanted to. There probably are how-to videos on YouTube she can watch. :-)
Have a great week!
Love those fallish crochet colors. Ducky should appreciate the ear cleaning, Derby.

ReplyDeleteLeaves always find a way to a leaf-free spot and indoors.
ReplyDeleteWe enjoyed squishing our Mommy and extra hour this weekend! Sweet Pea is the ear-washer around here; everybody gets it from her, there's no escape...
