Garden Thursday

Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger, Glimmer and NNIT (No Name Introoder Kittie).

Yes, we are gaining another outside girl to join our ranks. We girls can take the big outdoors, unlike some mancats we have known!

Virginger: OK kid, listen up. Here are your duties. First, while our post is on Thursday, mum has lots of outside chores that have to be done on Wednesday night. This includes getting the trash and recycling containers out. Got it?
NNIT: Ummm, what containers are those Virginger, er, Miss, Ma'm, Sir?

Virginger: That big black box you were sitting on earlier, that one! OK?
NNIT: This one? Yep, it is sitting out by the street and I saw her put a big white bag inside of it.

Virginger: Good, you got one thing down. Now we also have to report on stuff that goes outside or that mum is working on doing outside.

NNIT: You mean like the stuff she brought home last night? The pretty colored things?

Virginger: Yep, that is it.
NNIT: OK, she brought home a whole big thing of these flowers and this purpley thing, that says it is a lilac.
Virginger: Yep, that is what we need to know. But that means we have to stay on her so that this all gets planted in the next few days. That will require all three of us to keep after her.

Virginger: Not bad for your first time. Things will get easier as the summer goes on. Now is a bizzy time for us. Later we can just make sure she gets the lawn mowed.

Also, NNIT, we do have to find a name for you. A suggestion was made to call you Trudy. But we outside lady cats have names that end in ER.

Virginger
Glimmer
________er

So we gotta work on telling mum what your name is. Don't worry, we will get you a good one.

Thanks for visiting, Love Virginger, Glimmer and NNIT.

  1. You're a tough teacher, Virginier, but it looks like the new kitty will know the routine soon.

  2. It seems that NNIT is a fast learner. I thought Trudy was an excellent name, but if it has to end in -er, then why not just Truder?
