Tuesday This and That
Not much going on. It got cooler, so mum has the windows open. She says it makes for better sleeping when it is cool.
Mum is reading as usual, just starting a book on the "Iron Horse". Sounds like a book on trains, but it is actually about a baseball player, Lou Gehrig. Plus she got an idea of another book to read from this one. She added it to her list.

ReplyDeleteTBT says OUR windows won't be open again until like October. TBT watches baseball a lot, and admires Lou Gehrig, but we just nap on him while he is watchin, so we dont know much about it. Ayla watched the Womens Soccer final cause she can follow the ball moving around. TBT reads in bed and we sit around him. But we dont get much attention cuz he gets really focussed.

ReplyDeleteMy human doesn't know much about Lou Gehrig, but she says the first person she bought a house from, nearly 20 years ago, died from the same disease Lou Gehrig died of.

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that your mom is a baseball fan! We are fans, up to a point...some of those games go on WAY TOO LONG! However, usually the hubby is watching the game on TV, while I sit nearby reading a book!

ReplyDeleteOur mom likes it when we curl up with her to read. More often than not, she'll even read to us when we do and we like that very much. Maybe your mom reads to you too?
