Garden Thursday

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger, Glimmer, Trooper and Fleur.

Howdy, hope you all survived the eclipse on Monday, we did. We did not look at the sun, well, we didn't have sun to look at! It was all cloudy and even a little bit of rain. Mum said that if we are all around in 2099 the eclipse will be here, right at our house. She is extending an open invitation for all to come and hang out. Hmmm, even with all of our nine lives I don't think we will be around!!

Mum found a new fevver feeder. It is a mesh bag, but it has larger holes and it is made for meal worms. The fevvers have emptied it twice, mostly the chick-a-dees eating at it Mum is hoping that she might attract blue birds.

Otherwise it is quiet in our garden. Glad you stopped by. Love, Virginger, Glimmer, Trooper and Fleur.

  2. I have never seen a fevver feeder like that, but it sounds like the birds really enjoy the meal worms.
We had a cloud free day here for the eclipse but we only had a very small nibble taken out of the bottom of the sun. We watched through welding masks.

  5. I've never seen a meal worm feeder. My mom just bought a mesh feeder for the finches last weekend. We're hoping we can lure them back without encouraging the obnoxious jays to pick at the feeder.

  7. That is quite the fevver feeder. Mom bean went ewww at the sound of worms.

Mom bean was at work when the eclipse happened and was too busy to look out a window. She figures we were probably napping. She's probably right!
