First off it is Veteran's Day here in the US and Remembrance Day in many other parts of the world. A day we take to formally say thank you to the men and women who have served in the military. Their service is what helps us be free. They gave part of their lives to serve us and some gave their life to serve us.
Mum's money guy is a vet, he was a Marine! Semper Fi to you sir! We salute you.
It has gotten furry cold here, windy too. Mum has to bundle up a bit more when going outside. We have not yet seen any of that white stuff coming from the sky. Places near the big lake did see flakes, so just keep it away from us.
Mum switched out the blankie over the couch yesterday and I decided I needed to tunnel in for a bit. I can't exactly hide here. Mum knows exactly where I am!
Everyone have a good weekend. Stay warm.
You know where the best warm place is, Ducky.
ReplyDeleteMOL, Ducky, I get the feeling you didn't exactly want to be found just then.
ReplyDeleteYou found a warm and cosy place, Ducky ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteYou need to remind your mum that when you're tunnelling, the 'no touch' rule applies.

It is Remembrance Day in Australia. End of the First World War in which a huge number of Australian armed forces lost their lives. The loss of life was particularly tragic when considered in proportion to the population. Humans need to learn to live in peace with one another.
ReplyDeleteI like your "hidey" spot behind the blanket!
