Heading into the Memorial Day weekend. Everyone stay safe.  

The cool rainy weather has moved on. I got the back yard mowed yesterday and hope to get the rest done on Friday. It will look good for the weekend. 

My closest JoAnn's is to close on the 23rd, the other one I shop at closes the 27th and I got an email that the last day any store will be open is May 30th. 

This is what I picked up on Thursday to make hats with this summer. Discount was up to 70%, so I made out good here. This was $100 worth of yarn if you were paying full price!

On to complete projects!

Red Heart, Bitty Stripes, Mermaid. Bitty Stripes is a newer yarn mix from Red Heart, they now have more colors and I like the way this works up. One of my favorites!

Red Heart, Black/Cyan Granny Square. I think most know the granny square pattern and the yarn was developed so you didn't have to change yarn colors every round. Lots of colors available, but I don't care for the fact that once you have made the squares, you have to assemble them into something!
