I think summer is here to stay. Temps have gotten nice enough without being too hot and not dropping into the "I need a jacket range."
Press release last week stating the Michaels Corporation had acquired the intellectual property and private label brands of JoAnn. I have a Michaels close to me, so I will need to go in and see how the store is now and how it changes over time. At least at the store near me there is a vacant store front next door. So they have room to expand should they want to do that.
Previous to this Herrschnerrs had said they would carry the JoAnn Big Twist yarn as one of their brands. They do carry the other main brands like Red Heart and Lion Brand.
So I will continue to have my multiple yarn sources.

ReplyDeleteI remember my Mom's yarn basket. It was round, leather with a hinge top. She knitted sweaters as a hobby while watching TV in the evening. I still have a few. They don't fit anymore, but I still cherish them.
