Garden Thursday

Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday. Continues to be bizzy here with the destruction that is going on. But they seem to be filling up the holes they dug last week. So that I guess is a good sign.

The biggest change is in the back. They took off the patio cover and set it down in the middle of the yard for a few days. Today they took it away and mum told them to do that.

This is from inside and there will be so much more of a view to see outside to the flowers and trees. Mum says it is so much brighter inside too.

The front all filled in. They will bring in some really nice dirt so mum can plant more flowers next spring.

Litter Box

The Island Cats asked about where we got our high sided litter box. Mum said it was a place near here called Fleet Farm. Fleet Farm sells all sorts of stuff for pets, farm animals, the house, toys, some foods and clothes too.

Well mum didn't want to get down on the floor to look at the label. But then this week mum saw it was in their ad this week on sale. It shows the manufacturer is IRIS. So that is where we got the box. Mum likes it too and figures it is time to replace a few of our boxes in the dungeon once we can get back into the dungeon.

Work is progressing. Mum is guessing about 60% done and they might be done by the end of the week! We can't wait.

ManCat Monday

WOW, what a party we had. Some extra bundles of fur stayed over and are sleeping it off before they teleport home. Thanks to everyone for making my purrthday a marvelous day. 

We will be resting up lots today. Or as best we can while we snoopervise the destruction around here.

Feetsball Report

The Pack - They beat the Brown team, but another guy got hurt and carted off the field on a stretcher. We need to purr hard that the injured players get all better soonest. The Pack is now in firsted place in the NFC North. Next week they get to play the ViQueens on Sunday night.



The Broncos - Mr Peyton came back to play his old team The Colts on Sunday night Feetsball. So mum watched the Pack, then changed the channel to watch Peyton. But for some reason these Sunday night games take furrever to be over. So mum says she can't stay up that late to see the end. But when mum went to bed Mr Peyton was losing.

Let The Party Begin! Derby's Purrthday

It is the weekend and we are going to party today and tomorrow for my purrthday! Come on over and join the gang. We have lots of foods and drinks. Kittie under the age of one, you need to stick to water, milk or tuna juice!

We can't get to the dungeon this year because of the destruction going on, but we can have lots of fun watching them work this morning, they even woke mum up! Bright sunny day, so come on over!

I am a whole ten years old now, up to double digits! I still feel like a kitten sometimes. I still love to play and chase, but do like my down time for napping.

 So let's party hardy gang!

Garden Thursday

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday.

Lots to snoopervise outside with the destruction going on. They came last week and broke apart the patio slab near the house. Mum says they will take this all out to do the fix.

Mum has to be super careful if she comes out the back door.

But yesterday they came and starting digging up the whole dang house! Mum says they have to do this to make the walls straight. Take out all the dirt on the outside, gently push the walls from the inside so they are straight. Then anchor them down inside and put in supports, then they can re-waterproof the outside. Once that is all done they will refill the hole with rock and then put dirt on top.

 So I will be super bizzy, snoopervising this big project. The boys can't get to the dungeon anymore either. Mum has it all blocked off, even she won't be able to get to the dungeon for a few days.

Litter Boxes and other stuff

A number of you commented on our litter box situation in the dungeon. So we figure we will answer them.

Laila and Minchie wanted to know if we were hoarding basement cats. No we are not, at least we never see them if they are down there,

Katnip Lounge wanted to know what was happening in the dungeon. Well, right now not much. They came and worked last Friday, they haven't been back. Mum says they are finishing up another job first before they come and really start to work.

Tillie and Georgia had a bunch of questions.
Do you have water problems?  Not that we know of, mum turns on the faucet we get water.
Did your Mom lose something? No, but she found stuff she should get rid of.
Did you lose a cat toy? Nope.

Sometimes Cats Herd You. 
Why are they destroying your dungeon? Mum says they gotta fix the walls.
And why do you have a world supply of cat boxes down there?  That is just our supply. Mum readed that you should have one box per cat plus one more.

William wanted to know if it will be a litter trench. Mum says no, they will replace the stuff they are digging out once the fix is in place.

The Meezers and Billy wanted to know if they can come and ghost hunt. Sure, why not, it would be fun.

ManCat Monday

Oh yes, things get more interesting here kitties. This is what they are doing in the dungeon, breaking up the floor! Our litter box area is now a destruction zone!

 Derby managed to get down to the dungeon to check things out over the weekend, but mum says until they are done. We won't be allowed in the dungeon, which is why we have our box upstairs AND, have to be confined to the sleepy room and the litter box room during the day until this is done. Mum says we won't be allowed to snoopervise since we might be in the way, get hurt or sneak out an open door.

Mum left us for a while over the weekend. Last weekend she had to go play with racy cars one last time for the year. She was home mid-afternoon and then did three loads of laundry, since she won't be going to the dungeon either. The she cut all the grass and chewed up what leaves have fallen down.

 Feetsball Report 

The Pack - managed to squeak out a win over the defending champs The Ravens. Mum said she listened to some of it on the way home.

The Broncos - kept up their scoring pace and beat up on the Jaguars.

Caturday

Yep, something is definitely up. Thursday evening mum set up a brand spanking new litter box for us in her litter box room. It is nice not to have to go to the dungeon to do our bizzness, but this is not normal for sure.

 We got shut in her bedroom and the bathroom on Friday during the day. So we needed this box. We heard noise inside and outside the house.

Oh yeah, this showed up in our front yard yesterday and it is parked there. Some of our front patio is gone.

Oh yeah, The Crew wanted to know if I had gotten out to the garage or metal monster room. Sometimes I can sneak past mum, but no, that was the dungeon!

Garden Thursday

Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday. Things are quiet as fall moves in and the plants are done blooming and are ready to sleep for fall.  However mum is bizzy outside and doing some strange things. She is moving stuff from one place and putting them in another. She has even put the chairs away already. Normally those stay out

until it snows. That way she has a place to sit down if she wants to rest while working outside.

 All gone but the grill!

 The cans with the fevver food is by the fence.

 All to unused flower pots are move to ...

 .... out in the garden area.

 The boys are reporting from inside that mum is moving stuff all around and covering it up with big pieces of brown and blue plastic.

Shelf empty except for Derby. We thinks something is up, but mum hasn't said a word about moving. Hmmm, stay tuned.

Ducky Tocks

This was me the other day, mum was trying to rest a bit. I decided I needed to make biscuits on the bear. Mum got a great view of my backside.

ManCat Monday

We love kittens. We have four new members of the CB over at Colehaus Cats. They arrive on Caturday night, with mama Erinn Zuzu Niblet giving birth to four cutie pies. Including a ginger!

If you haven't been over to visit, do so an be ready to sqeee!

Derby moving in on Ducky for the front window perch. 

 Yeah it is a bit crowded but taking advantage of the morning sunshine.

 Derby settled down and them mum got a nice picture of us both.

Mum was happy for a decent day after it rained on Caturday. She has been souper busy moving boxes in the dungeon and today she was moving all sort of things around outside. Digging up plants from one place and putting them in a different place. We thinks something is happening, but not sure. Mum assures us we is not moving!


Feetsball Report

The Pack - coming off their bye week and playing their first in division game against the Deetroit Lions. Thankfully the big receivers for the Lions didn't play and the Pack won 22-9. The Lions are winless in Whisker-consin for the past two decades! 

The Broncos - they were not tamed by the Cowboys. It was a high scoring game with The Broncos winning as time ran out with a field goal. Mum's favorite play was the touchdown where Peyton was sneaky and bootlegged it into the end zone all on his own.

Caturday

First a fond farewell to a long time furiend, Mini of The House of Mostly Black Cats. Also fondly known as The Hotties. She did purrty well with CHF (Congestive Heart Failure) for just over a year, but decided to join her old sisfur Sanjee at The Bridge yesterday.

Comforting purrs to your mum, grandmum, Pepi, Gree and Boni.

Plus another fine ginger has run off to The Bridge as well. Cokie, the Hollywood Insider is upstairs repurrting on the stars from there. He was a special needs kittie here, but no longer has any ailments at The Bridge.

We are just hanging out, napping, watching mum do her weekend chores, cleaning, cooking, laundry. It is a cloudy day and we will be napping lots and maybe sniffing a few butts!

Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday NIGHT! Yikes, mum is having brain fade and totally forgot to help me get my post done. Not acceptable mum, you may be busy, but you can't forget us. Specially ME, I only get one day a week to post!

 

 

Some of the trees are beginning to turn colors. This is our little maple tree in the back. Most of the leaves are a yellowy-green but a few red ones are sneaking in. 

Mum's furiend didn't come to get the grapes, so that means treats for the fevvers. Mum will not try to make wine. She knows she would have a certain four footed helper who would end up with purple paws.
