Memorial Day

Honor and Remembrance to all who have served our country.
Thank you.

ManCat Monday will return next week. Mum says that thanks for the nice remarks on the garden. She has done this before so knew how much time it would take her to do this. She was a little stiff when she got out of bed yesterday morning, but once she got going she did OK. Did all of her normal Sunday stuff and watched cars turn left. Including bouncing from one to the other when they were both on at the same time.

But during the down time she sat outside and enjoyed looking at her nice garden. Plus she talked with the neighbor beans and met their new woofie. The old one went to the Bridge a few weeks ago. It was the new woofie's first day at her new home and she doesn't have a name yet. Mum says the it is a golden doodle.

We are going to have a quiet day, mum is going to get Grampie, go see a purrade. Then I think chill for the rest of the day. Mum shared a little bit of her ice cream cone last night. Yum.
Hope that all of my furiends and their families have a great day, whatever you are doing. Be safe.

We didn't get over to your blog this weekend because we were buried in a pile of what your mom had in the lower photo! We had 15 yards to move and it's almost gone. And I had to snoopervise every bit...

Ice cream is great. It goes well with watching cars turn left. Mommy and Daddy used TIVO to it's full capacity yesterday so they could watch cars turn left all day. Have a wonderful Memorial day!

Dear Derby,
I missed your "garden blog" so I looked back tonight. The garden looks great. I hope that you share pictures over the summer as it grows in.
We haven't begun to plant yet here. Hopefully next weekend we'll plant the "patio pots" and put in some flats of impatiens.
Mickey
ps--Mom has forgiven me.

Ooo ...YUMMY! I'm a fan of those ice cream cones, too. I especially like the ones with caramel in the middle. Mom has to eat all of the nuts/chocolate off before I can have some.

Enjoy that cone, Derby!

Oh, and the Squillions were adopted from Green Wall Shelter. Mom 'dopted about forty of 'em.

we gotta show the Blonde Girl the last picture and remind her how much she likes ice cream. she hasn't had any recently and now we're really really really wanting some! (cute picture!)
