Yes, they have bloomed and some tulips are not far behind. It was over 70 today so mum opened lots of windows tonight when she came home. It won't be this warm tomorrow however!
Mum spent lots of time working outside the past few nights, raking the grass and cutting the old plants down. Now she just has to take the stuff to the compost pile at the landfill. But other stuff is starting to get green too, daylillies and poppies.
Don't forget, the deadline to get your tickets for the CFHF Gizzy Quilt raffle is Friday. You wanna win this, you know it. But you can't win if you don't buy a ticket!
Our daffy-dils are out too, happy as can be! Your garden is going to be beautiful. We're sorry that your weather isn't going to hold, ours is a bit iffy for Friday too!

ReplyDeleteOooh Daffodils. Mom loves those! The Magnolia tree in the backyard of our neighbors yard is in full bloom. It's lovely.

ReplyDeleteWe're waaaaaay past daffs around here in muy HOT Texas..we've moved right into irises and day lilies and annuals! My mom says she's not doing anything except for garden prep until after Mom's day, 'cause it could freeze again!

My Grandpa has lots of nice flowers though. His Daffy-dils are beautiful right now.
My Investor likes the garden, too. I believe it is for our viewing enjoyment.

ReplyDeleteAll of the daffidols have been out for a long time here in Seattle, and the tulip festival is being delayed though, and it probally will be a little long too! The western Washington area got around an inch of snow yesterday!!
