Most everyone knows that we kitties will bonk heads to show affection. But did you also know that we 'blink' to show affection? It is a subtle sign with both eyes half way closed. Do you do this to your beans?
Not sure if Ducky is blinking or just falling asleep here!
Mum came home early from work today and climbed right back into bed. Ducky jumped up to sit on her and purr. She sounds like she has lots of rocks in her voice, lots of sneezy's, blowing stuff out of her nose. She got up long enough to eat a bit and is ready to head back to the sleepy spot again.
Just so you know mum is furry safe when she plays in traffic. She just directs traffic and makes sure drivers have all of their safety stuff on before they are allowed out on the track to go fast. Then for race time they take the qualifying times and makes sure they get lined up correctly.
She does not drive a racy car. She says she doesn't have enough green papers to do that, really doeesn't have any desire to do so even if she had enough green papers. After all these years she says the best part is seeing her furiends that she has made over the many years.
My mom knows about the bonks but didn't know about the blinks. I don't know why, though--I do it to her all the time!
ReplyDeleteHope your mum feels better soon!
Our Daddy does the blinky game with us.
ReplyDeleteSounds like Doctors Derby & Ducky will be on call! Take care of your Mum and get her well soon.
xx Lounge Kats
It was awfully nice of you to purr on her because, really, the hoominz are disgusting when they have stuff coming outta their noses.
ReplyDeleteNot much of a bonker but I am a blinker.
ReplyDeleteOur Mommy has always bonked heads with us and gotten in our face, blinking her eyes at us slowly, trying to communicate on our level=she is weird that way..Great photos boys!...We hope your Mommy feels better soon...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
ReplyDeleteWe knew about that--sometimes I pretend but don't really follow through--just enough to hook the Woman in.
ReplyDeleteI hope that your Mom feels better soon.
Oh man....now the Woman will expect blinks...
ReplyDeleteWe only narrow our eyes to show our displeasure at being lumbered with mum.

ReplyDeleteDidn't know about the blinks. Mom says she will have to watch for it now. She thinks my cousin Audrey does it, but not so much me. Audrey definitely does the head bonk thing.
ReplyDeleteWe read about the blink thing a couple months ago - we do it sometimes. Mostly we bonk though!
ReplyDeleteYour mom evidently has an interesting job!
ReplyDeleteThe tail and whiskers talk tons too! And the ears! TSB swears she reads us well enough but yet she refuses to let us go sometimes when we get to the point of being done with cuddles! Humans... sheesh!
