Yeah, me helping mum read her big fat book. She finished it last night. Now she plans to read smaller and skinnier books that don't take two weeks to get through.
Mum's sniffles seem to be getting better slowly, but then she heads off to day hunt during the day and comes home all tired. The good thing is she goes to bed early so then I have more time to cuddle with her.
It's good to hear that she's feeling better. The head peep is getting over her bug, too. We convinced the head peep to stop reading paper books entirely because they took two hands with all that turning pages.
ReplyDeleteWe like how you "help," Ducky. :)
ReplyDeleteI hope your human feels 100% soon!
ReplyDeleteSometimes beins need help with the big words, Ducky. Reassure your mum that there's nothing for her to be embarrassed about. In the meantime, you get on with your laundry.

Ducky, we hope mom will be feeling better soon. You have been providing excellent nursing care. It is wise of you to be careful of all mom's tossing & turning while sleeping. I personally have experienced being squished by my human & it is no fun. Wait until she is feeling better & stops thrashing to return to sleeping in the same bed. We agree with your mom that huge heavy books are hard on the wrists. Hopefully, mom can get lots of rest this weekend & return to waiting on you hand & foot as she normally does Ducky. Your mom is lucky to have her mini mancat to help her out when under the weather.
