ManCat Monday

A cat is a tiger that is fed by hand. - Yakaoka Genrin

I am not one for taking food from mum's had, although if it is ham I will do that. Otherwise, just lay out my treats and I will get to them.

Our weather went from super cold, to all melty. Mum says 80% of the snow on the roof is all melted. So no worries about ice dams that could damage the house. The snow melt has made it all foggy, so we can't see far. That is OK, mum isn't going far.
Mum worked on her special blankie, she is now over 60% done and she doesn't have to have it done until next year at this time.
Mum got all graduated for the garden stuff. She got her pin and a certificate. Only about half the people who took the classes the same time as she did. So either people decided they didn't really want to put in the volunteer garden hours or they just wanted to take the classes and get the training materials.

Final Feetsball Report

The Stouper Bowl is done. Mum did watch a bit, more to see the commercials, but when Mouseterpiece Theater came on she went to watch that. When it was over the game was too. She recorded it so she can go back and watch commercials. Oh, yeah, the guys named Pat won. YAWN.

Have a good week everyone.

  1. I'm impressed by your human's garden graduation. My human would have gotten a big FAIL.

  5. Congratulations to your mom on becoming an awesome Master Gardener! Our Mom didn't watch the Soooperbowl and watched the Kitten and Cat Bowls over on the Hallmark channel (that was free over the weekend). We really, really liked those shows!

  11. Congratulations to your mom. That is so great for her. We love ham too. It's so delicious. The weather changed also very quickly. We love it. Some awesome walks with the little ones during the day. Thanks for the share. Have a wonderful day.

  13. I always THINK I am going to like ham, but then I take a little lick and remember that I don't. Sigh.
The Bowl was a bust. We only watched the last quarter and wished the Saints was playing. The woulda got more than 3 lousy points!
Yes, that lazy Human SHOULD brush me more, though she says my furs get all messed up pretty fast anyway, specially when I have to twist myself around in my tiny box! Gongrats to your Mom on her gradyooayshuns! When does the gardener-stuff work start? (The snows must have to go away first!) And speaking of snow, there was a little around here today--not right by our house but up in the hills! And it snowed 7 feet in 7 days up at Tahoe--they had to close the ski resorts......ka-ching!
