Garden Thursday

hello and welcome to Garden Thursday. Well, we have gone a whole week without any snow, so that is good, but we only get one nice day at a time.

Our nice day this past week was Tuesday. Mum got the grass eater out and did that, plus she worked on cutting out some stuff that was growing where she didn't want it.
Here is the pile of stuff she cut out, she will haul it to the street for pickup by Sunday. The village guys will be by sometime soon to do the annual brush pickup.
The dogwood shrubs looking a bit less messy, dead stuff cut out and all. Below, mum trimmed out from our side of the fence part of a mulberry tree growing in the fence.

The lilac in the back showing the flowers to come. The flowers are slow to come since it has been so cool. The bleeding heart is growing good and should be blooming soon. You can see future flowers on this too.
So that is all for this week. Things are getting nice, just taking it slow getting here.

Love Virginger, Glimmer, Trooper and Fleur.

  6. We got 20" of snow in the high mountains here, with several inches more expected over the next three days. Here where we are, it's just been rain and wind. We can't wait to see those lilacs!
