We don't have any kittens around here, but the two of us certainly brings this place to life. Heck, if it was just mum here, things would be pretty deaded most of the time.

The hots are gone, the cools are in, windows are open. Just lovely. Sleeping is great, even for mum. She loves sleeping all snuggly under the covers with a cat or two on top for additional warmth.

The two of us hanging about, watching mum watch the feetsball game and working on a new blankie for a new baby coming to someone at work.

Plus we sends tons of purr to Sweet little Mini of the Hotties. Her heart is going wonky and she has to take medicine for it now. She was it the stabby place for a few days getting treated but is back home again. Plus her sisfur Gree's back is all wonky too. Check here for updates. Purrs Miss Mini and Miss Gree, we loves you.


Olivia, William of Mass Destruction's sisfur went to The Bridge on Sunday, so we has a sad too. 

FeetsBall Report.

Yes it is that time of the year again. Mum can sit and yell at the TV on Sunday, we go and nap sometimes for most of the game.

The Packs - They stunk up Lambeau big time. Defense is bad like last year, this year even the offense didn't look sharp. A bit of a spark in the last quarter, but too little, too late.  Short turn around, they play Da Bears on Thursday.

Them Broncos - yes, we will be reporting on these guys instead of Colts. See QB Peyton moved teams and mum likes Peyton. Mum is turning off the puter before the game is over. The Bronco guy were winning last we checked. We wish the Colts lots of Luck ;). 

Plus mum says she thinks the refs stink too. Inconsistent, slow like they don't know all of the rules and all.

So happy Monday one and all. 

Mo Cats Day

It is I Derby, the suggester of Mo Cats Day. Yep, I am. I am certain that the whole thing was purely a typo. Not "No Cats Day", but Mo Cats Day.

 So here are "Mo" of the two of us. Have a happy day everyone.

Plus we want to send big, healing mega purrs to Ann of Zoolatry and ML of KC and the Sherwood bunch. Get better soonest. Purrs.

Garden Thursday

Happy Garden Thursday everyone. Things are slowly beginning to look a bit better in our garden. We have had some rains over the past weeks. Even a few thunder booming 

The rains are helping, we are now classified, as of last Thursday as only being in a moderate drought. That is good for our garden, but the poor farmers didn't get rain for their crops when they needed it. So it is hard for them. 

. 

So here are a few things that are looking better now that we have had some rains. 

The snow in the mountain is coming back.

Our Russian Sage is blooming, although we only have one plant instead of three.

The thistle plant has gone to seed.

The ornamental thistle is all bloomed out already.

So that is all from our garden this week.

Get Ready for Mo' Cats Day

Yep, way back when in '09 some silly bean said the innerwebs had too many cats. No we don't we don't have enough. So on my say so, KC created a new hollyday for us cats.

Happy Hollyday for all of our Meriky furiends. Hope you are NOT laboring on Labor Day. We have been keeping a nice quiet weekend, even mum. She even had a nice nap on Sunday afternoon.

 So just chillin' here. Sitting on mum, licking her toes.

Caturday - New Naybor!

We have a new naybor. Mum met her earlier this afternoon, her name is Brandy

Mum says this is Brandy's first day in her furrever home. She is six weeks old and as her humum mum says she is a "mutt".

We are taking it easy, lots of naps. It was cooler, nice enough to have the windows open. Not much sun, we are getting clouds from what is left of the hurrycane. Mum did the house work, laundry and then has been reading. All in all, we are being lazy. It is nice.

Garden Thursday

Hello, Virginger here. Welcome to Garden Thursday. Firs the boys wanted me to mention that in fact they did get some of the chick-hen before mum put in in the freezy box. Plus mum took some of the skin and got it all hot and crispy and ate it.

Since our summer has been hot and our flowers coming and going so quickly I decided to show you some nice pictures from previous years of our flowers. Cheer us all up.

 And a couple of flutterbys. Haven't see many of them this summer either.

We all are hoping that our furiends and their beans are doing OK with the hurrycane. That is just way too much water and wind for one place at one time.

Chick-hen, Chick-hen, Chick-hen

Oh mum bought a big fat chick-hen that was already cooked last week. She needed it so she could make soup. But the other day she took what was left out of the big cold box and worked on it and we snoopervised.

 Here is all the chick-hen all cut apart but still with the bones and skin.

Then mum pulled it all apart into little pieces, tossed out the bones and pulled off the skin and put them on the plate.See the little baggies of chick-hen pieces?

The the four little bags of chick-hen went into the freezy part of the big cold box. Mum have it when she wants to make soup again. She made two big batches of soup, but only one had some chick-hen in it.

Here is the wishing bone. Mum says that bean when they find it will pull it apart and make a wishes. So she held the left side and we right side. So we made our wishes.

Furever homes for all kitties and woofies.

Lots of treats and toys for all of us.
