A
cat can purr its way out of anything. - Donna McCrohan
Hope you had a good weekend, we did. It was nice and warms, open windows. The only bad thing was that mum spent time with the sucking monster and defurring the house. Plus she kept the washy machine going for hours! So the house is a bit cleaner, for now.
We enjoyed time on the tower, we watched fevvers with mum. We saw some first time visitors for the season. We will let Virginger fill you in on the specifics on Thursday.
Ducky off scaling some of mum's pictures books. Mum took the flowers with her last weekend to her racy car thing, so they had roses for the running for the roses race. So they still have some interesting smells on them.
We hopes you have a lovely week.

Here is a picture of mum, reflecting in the mirror while she took pictures of here flowers a few years ago.

Caturday
We saw our firsted hummer last night, we have had the sugar water go away. Now we know for sure at least one little guy is back and eating.
Mum is off today to help teenagers learn to drive better, getting some advanced driving tips. Panic breaking, avoidance of obstacles and turning on a dry and wet course. She just puts cones back in place, but she thinks it is important to help to do something so kids learn to drive better.
We want to send out HUGE purrs to Syclla. She hurted her tail trying to jump over a rose bush, catching a thorn. Sending healing purrs to you Syclla.
We had some nice days, open windows and all. So it is nice when mum gets home and opens the house. FRESH AIRS!
Happy weekend all.

Garden Thursday
Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday with ME, Virginger.
Glad you could stop by, we have all sorts of stuffs going on outside. Still a bit chilly, but it is getting better but very slowly. All of our plants are very slow waking up.
A couple of white tulips have opened up among the hiya-sinths.
Tiny daffs. Mum remember buying more daffs last fall but doesn't amember if they were dwarf ones! She didn't save the package!
This tulip isn't quite ready to open. Maybe if we get some warmer weather like the weather guessers are saying it will warm up.
Mum did some inspecting in the back. She opened the big can of nyger seed that the finches eat and see it has FUNGUS in it. So what is left will need to get tossed and clean the can out furry well.
She got out the oriole feeder as well. Mr and Mrs O should be back soon to raise some babies! We always like to see those orinch birds. We like lots of stuff that is orinch, including us!
One of the lilacs is beginning to open up its leaves. Mum has been all around the yard inspecting to see if things got deaded from the bad winter or if they are just super slow due to the cold spring. Most things are just being slow
If you need a snack, pop inside. I am sure there are still left overs from the parties the boys have been having. Never seem so many cats hanging out around here lately.
That is all for this week. Stop by again. Love, Virginger.

Happy Gotcha Day to Derby
My mug shot from the shelter. Mum fell in love even before she met me. This picture is also why Calico Mom Toni, calls me Smiley Boy.
Nine wonderful years hanging out with mum, adding in Ducky a few years back. I hopes I get lots more years to hang out with them and all of you.
Now, time to PAR-TAY!
So lots of foods and drinks. Remember kittens, only water, tuna juice or milk!
Thanks for stopping by and celly-brating with me. Love you all.

ManCat Monday - Stinko Mayo Day
In
a cat's eye, all things belong to cats. - English Proverb
Happy Stinko Mayo day! No mum didn't have to go anywhere to get mayo or to mayo. We all get to be home. Well except mum, she is off day hunting.
Once again we were abandoned. She went off to her own Derby Day party and well it just happened to include racy cars as well. She even had a mint julep or two. Along with good foods and watching the race.
Not to worry, we will take off to another party over at the Tabby Cat Club for Stinko Mayo Day

Derby Caturday
Yes it is the first Caturday of May, the day the three year old horsies run for roses down in Ken-Tucky. So welcome every one to my annual Derby Day party. The picture you see above is the one mum submitted for the CB Calendar. So Happy Calendar Cat Weekend to ME!
I am partial to the first Caturday of May, as that is the day mum gotcha'd me 9 years ago. My official Gotcha Day is next week, so I can celly-brate twice!
WooHoo, come on in and eat, play, watch horsies run fast. Enjoy the time with furiends.
A buffet of wonderful goodies, all your favorites are here. If you don't see what you like, ask the catering staff!
Biscuits with ham, we tried to go with some southern style foods.

Roast beast is always good.
Traditional drink for Derby Day is a CatMint Julip. So enjoy.
We may be rushing a day or two, but we will have Meow-garita's too.

Garden Thursday
Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger. Our bulbs continue to bloom, all of the hiya-sinths are at it now.
Part of the old sedum that mum transplanted away from the house is growing, she thought she deaded it, but it is just a bit slow in coming back.
Tulip getting ready to bloom soon.
Another sedum that survived the destruction.
More of the blue hiya-sinths.
Been a rainy and cloudy week here this week. We all would like some sunshine!
See you next week, love Virginger.

Tuesday, This and That
First of all, no mum does not DRIVE a racy car. She just tells people where to go.... And she does it very well. HAHAHAHAHAHA.
Purrs and prayers to all who have been or may be affected by all the nasty storms. It is scary to have sirens, and boomers and nasty winds going on. You all be safe now!
More purrs and prayer for Keisha. She has asthma, and that is not fun.
Plus Derby Day is coming on Caturday. Party will be held as usual.
