Here I Am

Here I am! Just napping and hanging out with the stuffed bears. Close up of yesterday's picture. Mum was looking for me one day and didn't see me at first either. She gets worried if she doesn't know where I am before she leaves for work or being gone a long time.

Mum had an adventure tonight. She got home but before she came inside she cleared the bit of snow off the driveway. Then she came inside and had closed the big door to the metal monster's room. She then went out the back door to fill the birdie feeders. But she got a surprise, she didn't get the door unlocked so she locked herself out of the house! On a evening when it was maybe 5 degrees!

So I didn't see her for a couple of hours, she said she spent it inside at the neighbors chatting and waiting for the man to break her into her own house.

She is back inside and all is well. She says she won't do that again.

  1. Our mom gets nervous too when we hide and she can't find us.

Sorry to hear that you were locked out of the house. What a drag!

  2. Does your mom do that too...search for you before she leaves?? Ours does...sometimes we freak her out by hiding someplace we don't normally hide...oh, it drives her mad!!!

Well, at least she got to catch up on some gossip with the neighbor while she was locked out...still, no fun!

  5. It's nice to know that your Mom always wants to know where you are before she leaves the house. It's a shame that she got locked out, especially on such a cold night. I'm glad she had someplace warm to wait.

  7. It's lucky your mum could go into your neighbour's house or she might have turned into an icicle. Our mum always checks where we are when she goes out, then she has to go back and check again, just to be sure.Dad tells her she is nuts because we won't have moved in the space of one minute.

  8. We are glad your Mum was able to go to the neighbors and stay warm. Mommy locked herself in the greenhouse one day. Luckily she had her cell phone with her so she called youngest boy bean to let her out. ~Socks, Scylla & Charybdis

  9. Your poor mom stuck outside in five degree weather...and you stuck inside waiting two extra hours for dinner! We like to sneak in to closets when Mommy is getting ready for work, and she's always afraid she's going to shut one of us in a closet all day accidentally. So, she alwsys makes sure she sees each of us right before she walks out the door.

  11. Oh no! How horrible. Of course, the Woman has a key hidden outside so that when she does that she can get back in... sigh.
