Fevver Friday Splish Splash

The fevver was having a great time giving his fevvers a bath the other evening. I will stick to the way we kitties give ourselves a bath! Biggify the pictures to see all the splashes.

Mum was unfaithful to me last night. She was outside planting some of her little plants into pots, morning glories and moonflowers, when the neighbor came over with their little woofie. Mum picked him up and got all sorts of kisses from him.
I have been ignoring her, except when she offered treats. They were eaten and then I took off to ignore her. That will teach her to mess with the little woofie and let him give her kissies. Thankfully she had to come in and wash good to get clean, so that got rid of the woofie smell.

Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

  1. That is a really interesting series of photos of the birdie splashing in the bird bath!

Moms are funny sometimes. Sometimes they have an uncontrollable urge to pick up other fluffy creatures!

  2. Love the expression on the 3rd picture. Looks like he's quite proud of himself. (now I have to go find the song Splish, Splash.)

Dude, my Mom is unfaithful ALL the time! She sees a woofie or kitty and she's all over them!

  8. Those are great pictures - you can really see the splashes well! I am sure your mom was just being polite with the woofie, but sometimes people just can't resist a cute animal.

    Have a great weekend!

  9. I think that is very smart of you Derby. I acted like I was afraid of my human yesterday and that made her feel really bad. I count that as a success and can now play velcro cat...

How dare that darn little woofie try to steal your mums affections?!!
You did the right thing, showing your displeasure!

  13. Oh Derby, I can't blame you for being upset at the betrayal!! It is always upsetting when our human so-called "friends" mingle with unsavory characters! My sympathies are with you.

  14. That little bird was having lots of fun splashing around like that.
You did right to ignore your mum. How could she betray you like that?

  15. Moms should not be allowed to play with neighbor woofies...we hope she got that woofie smell off of her by now...

  16. We have a bird bath too, isn't it amazing? Pierro goes nuts at the window watching them bathe, haha

Derby, I think you are doing the right thing making your mom feel like she abandoned you and let a doggie love her... she should have run home immediately when she saw the dog coming.

  17. Derby, that bird sure looked like it was having a great bath. You mom shouldn't have petted that woofie and let it kiss her, but be glad it wasn't another cat.

  19. We're sorry to hear your mom betrayed you with that woofie. Hopefully she'll learn her lesson with you ignoring her! But yes, never let the lesson interfere with taking your treats, that's very wise of you. :)
