ManCat Monday

The reason cats climb is so they can look down on almost every other animal - it's also the reason they hate birds. - Kay Buffington

I don't hate birdies, I like them, they taste good, as chick-hen and turkey are birdies. But I have never eaten a wild birdie, but I do like watching them from my windows. Here I am by the big windows that go to the floor, wide open for me to watch and hear birdies.
This is the highest spot I can get to on top of the big cold box. I like it up here, I can watch mum do food stuff and hopefully some of it will be given to me.
Still busy with company, Uncle Stormie will be here until Tuesday AM. That means I have him to bug. I tried to leave him a present to step in outside his sleepy room door (he shuts me out), but mum cleaned it up! Darn her.

But Grampie, Uncle Stormie and mum sat outside and watched birdies yesterday afternoon. Mr Oriole came by but is shy and would sit in the tree but not come to the feeder, but they got to see him.

  2. Oh my! You look so handsome in those pictures.

I used to love getting on top of our fridge when I was young and thin. Now I'm older (nearly 9 yrs) and a tad too chubby to get on top of the fridge.

  3. I like your windows. Windows are the best. For all that I like to explore I have never gotten into above the fridge.

  4. You look comfy on top of the fridge. We like it up there, but even better, from there we can get on top of cabinets and be even higher! And go check out Pixie's post yesterday, he was fevver-stalking! MOL

  5. Stormie just doesn't appreciate the finer things in life.
For some strange reason Derby, you were in moms dream last night. Its the only thing she remembers from it, she was sitting next to you on a bed stroking you, and talking to you.

  6. Why hate birdies? They're tasty!
You're lucky you can sit on the cold box. Our is too stacked with stuff to get comfy up there.

  8. Gracie is the only one of us that likes to get up high right now. Tavi's too old and Miss Jade and Cody prefer to hide under the bed. It looks like you have some great places to watch from tho.

  11. We love the birdies too. Mum found a dedded Blue Tit under the bedroom window this morning. She doesn't blame us though cuz she heard a big thud earlier and thinks it flew into the window and dedded itself. There weren't any nom marks on it either.

  13. Derby,
Enjoy life high on the box. And be careful, Kitties in casts are funny but not graceful. I would know I see way too many of them.
