ManCat Monday

We tie bright ribbons around their necks, and occasionally little tinkling bells, and we affect to think that they are as sweet and vapid as the coy name Kitty.....It is a curious illusion. For purring beside our fireplaces and pattering along our back fences, we have got a wild beast as uncowed and uncorrupted as any under heaven. - Alan Devoe

Man I had a busy week last week with my purrthday and other stuff happening, so over the weekend I did lots of napping and a little bit of snoopervising while mum got rid of some of the leaves that have dropped off the trees. We had nicer weather over the weekend with sunny days and some decent temperatures. Unfortunately mum did not let me go outside, she was too busy doing stuff inside and away from home.
Miles Meezer the Second is adopted. Mum checked the shelter website on Friday, he was still listed. On Caturday morning, his listing was gone. So happy that he found his furrever home fast as he wasn't on the website for more than a week! Miles 2, have a happy live in your new home.

No mum was not out on the shelter webby site looking specifically for a fursib for me, but looking to see what we can do with the green papers that she plans to donate for my comment-a-thon from my purrthday and the TockTober pictures.

Feetsball Report

The Pack - they won very nicely and the QB did not spend time getting tossed on his tocks.

Brett and The Vikings - lost to the Steelers, thanks Steel Guys.

The Colts - the won.

Next Sunday Brett comes to Lambeau, so this should be interesting to see how he plays in front of the cheeseheads.

On a sadder note I want to wish a fond farewell to Beezer, a fellow Gorgeous Ginger; Kimiko and BG, who all went to The Bridge in the past few days. See you again someday.

We're so glad that Miles got adopted! Mama wants to know where you get the cat quotes at the top of the page? Is there a quote generator somewhere? Thanks!

You look positively worn out, Derby. So my question is, how can your mum look at cats and not want a million? I think there's something wrong with mine.

I love hearing that kitties (and woofies) have found their forever homes!
I must say, we were stunned by yesterday's game. We're thrilled, but don't know what it all means. My beans have been fans since they were little kids, they grew up here. We have been the Bungals for so long. Some dude made fun of my daddy in 2002 in the Las Vegas airport because he was wearing a Bengals hat.
I think this means we should start playing the lottery. Or it could be a side effect of global warming...
We just with the stinky Steelers would lose more...we don't like them at all
You look all comfy and well rested after your party. It was great fun!

Thanks for the report! I didn't get to watch as much football as I usually do this Sunday, so this was a great catch-up. ;)

I thought about you when I saw it was going to be a Green Bay/Minnestoa game on Sunday. At that point who do you choose!

Woohoo for Miles!
I was torn on the minnesota/pitt game because as a Green Bay fan I can't root for a traitor and as a Bengals fan I needed the steelers to lose. This week will be easier, Bengals have a bye week and go Packers!

Love the picture and your comments about the feetsball! We're gonna be cheering for Bret as he goes against his old team...and of course there's the Dallas Cowboys and the Iowa Hawkeyes Tommy says we gotta cheer for too...I'd rather just snooze, bite her toes and eat.

PS. A fursib for you would be great!
