BRRRRRRR, it has gotten all cold here again. Mum opened the door to get stuff in from outside and whoa, it is frosty out there.
Mum gotted a big box the other day, she called it a box of sunshine.
Two trays of these little orange balls that mum eats, one every day! She says that is so she can keep all healthy during this winter.
This morning while I was sitting by the windows that go to the floor, a dove flew directly into those windows! He made a big 'thunk' and turned around and flew away. We even have decals on the windows so that fevvers don't fly into these windows. But mum says doves are a bit stupid, at least that is her opinion.
Mum came home tonight and went out to make sure all of the fevver feeders were all full. With it being so cold, they eats so much more. She even had to replace both of the suet cakes.
Me, I am doing my best to stay warm, hope you are too.
You look funny upside down mum!
Hi Derby. It is very nice of your Mom to fill all the fevver feeders. That last photo is too cute. Stay warm.
ReplyDeleteIt got real cold here too!! Our mom put out some suet for the birdies too...she says there's stuff in it to give the birdies energy so they can stay warm!
ReplyDeleteI love watching the birdies outside....i always ask to go out when i see em and when mom lets me out...they leave...HOW RUDE
ReplyDeleteHey - you should grab one of the round thingies and smack it around a little looks like it would be fun!
ReplyDeleteOwr Momma agrees wif yur Mum about the doves being stoopid. She's seen them run, not fly, when she wuz driving her big metal monster towards them!! Silly birds! Stay warm...we's supposed to be getting more snow owt heer.

Stay warm Derby! The Male is talking about Wisconsin as a possible place to retire as prices and cost of living is better there. The Woman is pushing for the northern part too--I might have to take lessons on how to warm up if they continue to think this way!
ReplyDeleteOur mum said yummy when she saw the box of sunshine. We don't know why because they don't look like yummy treats to us. The real temperature has gone up a bit here but we are getting very strong northerly winds which make it feel a lot colder.
ReplyDeleteKeep nice and warm with your mum Derby.
Derby, we are glad you are staying warm. Your Mom is great for feeding the birdies. We feed them at our house too. They are fun to watch! xoxo
ReplyDeleteWe're glad the birdie was OK! Those oranges look like fun--rolling them around would be a blast!
ReplyDeleteHi Derby - it is freezing cold here too! We hope you stay nice and warm!!
ReplyDeleteYou look funny upside down too...you know it's darn near impossible to see inside a cat's nose.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice of your mum to feed the birdies. They get fed and you have lots to watch! Everyone wins!
ReplyDeleteHi Derby, you look funny upside down too. We used to have birdies try to get through the window too at the other place. But here with the deck and covering they don't get near any of the windows. Gosh sometimes they would hit hard but yet the just flew away. We have had some sun for a few days. Tomorrow it's back to clouds and rain.

Hey Derby!
ReplyDeleteSry my GWT post got lost in the story, when i started typing it out I got a bit lost in it and it ended up fairly long. But you and all your feetsball reports and mention of the packers gave me the idea for the photo. ^_^
Mmmm, it is citrus season! We were in AZ a few weeks ago and enjoyed all the fresh oranges, right off the tree! Stay warm, Derby!
ReplyDeleteHi Derby! My mommy agrees with yours about doves. Not very bright. We are keeping our feeders full and mommy is putting corn out for the Vishus Deer again now that the starlings have left.
ReplyDeleteHey, what else looks funny upside down?
fill all the fever feeders is a good task done by MOM .... i appreciate this :)
