He's Not Purrfect!

Yeah, the little runt got yelled at this morning. OK, mum didn't actually yell, but she was not happy with Ducky.

Just after she got up, the runt jumped up on the sleepy room's window perch and started chewing on the sticky strips that hold the curtins back. Mum said no don't chew on that and moved it around so the ends weren't sticking out at him.
Then he started chewing on the curtin. That got him a big "NO DUCKY" from mum. Then he ranned off. I feel good about this, cuz at times it seems he could do nothing to upset mum. Now he has. Yeah, this is good.

  5. It drives me mad, Birks gets away with murder here too. Like he bites the humans and they go "isn't he cute". I do the same thing and they go "Faz, don't bite". He's not as cute as he thinks he is. FAZ

  7. Haha! We agree, it's always better when your brother gets shouted at and you don't.
You're right, Bruges (Brugge) is inland. The ship docked at Zeebrugge and the Beans took a coach for the 30 minute journey to Bruges.
The spoken language is Dutch and Brugge is the Dutch spelling. Bruges is the English spelling. We don't know which way it is normally spelled in America.

  8. We find it works out really good that there's three of us. Unless mum catches us red handed, she has no idea which one did it, so no shouting.

  9. my mommeh says she unnerstands your mommeh's frustrations. of course, you and i would never dream of doing such a thing, Derby, but these little ones, well... they are verreh naughty. Baby Audrey chews up the window shades all the time, and it makes my mommeh sooooooooo angry. she yells "no" at the Baby, and picks her up and puts her away from the window, but the Baby is the Baby and she chews up the shades anyways while my mommeh is gone all day at the work place, and when my mommeh gets home there's all little teeth holes in the shades.

  10. Some of those things are just so fun to chew on, how can a cat help it? We are five years old and we still like to claw at the new carpet, even though we know we shouldn't!

Doesn't it make you feel good when it's the other kitty that gets into trouble?

Thanks for identifying the pot plant for us. SS knows zilch about plants and we get all these green things given to us in pots.
