Flooded!

Biggify if you want to. This all happened as mum got home from work. It started raining really heavy and then a buzzer went off in the dungeon.
The neighbor's babysitter got her car out of the way before it got too flooded so it would not run. An hour or so later it was all gone down the drain.
Now as far as the dungeon, mum did not take pictures but the floor got wet and she spent a lot of time down their tonight. She locked us up in her sleepy room with litterbox and foods. She does not want us going to the dungeon until the floor gets dry.

The crash and boom storms are coming again, mum says as long as the pumper thing in the basement keeps working and the rain isn't too hard.

  1. Things that make more work for Mewmie's aren't good, even without boomers and crashes. She'll be up to snuggle with you soon, don't worry!

  2. Sorry to hear about the flooding! That's terrible! Our basement was flooded this winter when we had 2 days of rain! We had 1 inch of water that we had to vaccuum out. It stinks! Hope everything gets cleared out soon!

  3. Oh we have been seeing the tv stations here broadcasting sever storm and tornado watches and warnings for your area (we are south of you all but still close enough to see the warnings for southern WI). We can't belive it got so flooded there so fast - what a heavy storm! We hope that the dungeon dries out and that the pump keeps working. And we hope that you don't get any more flooding or thunder booms. And we cross our fingers and paws that nothing got wrecked from the flooding - we hope it all end up ok! Stay safe!!

  4. We got so much rain one night a few weeks ago our street looked like yours. There was even some guy out canoeing on it!
Hope mum didn't lose anything in the wet downstairs. Like carpet or books or whatnot. We have a sump pump too but it rarely runs. There are interesting cobwebs down in that hole.

  11. We're sorry you were flooded! We have a leaky basement, so get water coming in when the rain hits the back of our townhouse unit, but only once did we have so much water our human had to mop.

Fingers and paws crossed you have no more flooding!

  15. We're glad you didn't get flooded out! We just heard that a HOUSE fell into a sinkhole in the north side! We're still dry over here, though. We're crossing our fingers that your sump pump keeps working.

  19. We know that cannot be good. We don't have dungeons here in Florida, so we're not sure what that is....But floods we know, so we will purr for dry weather for you.

  21. Oh man! Those first pictures looked very scarey with all that water. Did your mom have to pump out the dungeon or just mop and mop and mop and mop? Thunder-boomies scare me *shiver*
