ManCat Monday

No tame animal has lost less of its native dignity or maintained more of its ancient reserve. The domestic cat might rebel tomorrow. - William Conway, Archbishop of Armagh

What shall we rebel on? Not enough noms? Places to nap? Not enough sunbeams? Hmmm, guess we really don't have anything to rebel on, for now........
We did lots of napping, being nearby as mum readed her book. She read a whole book on Caturday and the watching some of the feetsball. Plus doing the usual weekend stuff. Plus she planned it that she didn't have anywhere to be on Sunday, so she napped in really late for her and didn't get up until nearly 9 AM. We even left her alone so she could get her extra sleeps.

Feetsball Report - Wildcard Playoff Weekend

The Pack - THEY WIN!!!! The Pack clipped the wings of those Eagles. It went down to the wire when The Pack got an interception in the endzone with about 35 seconds left in the game. Now they will play on Caturday night against some more birds, The Falcons.

The Colts - Lost to the high flying Jets. Mum is bummed as The Colts are her AFC team. Now she really doesn't care who wins, or maybe better put she has teams she would rather not see win. But we won't go there.

  1. I love the picture of you sleeping with your nose between your knees. Relaxing is the best way to spend the weekend.

  9. It was all football here this weekend too. Our Mom was also bummed out about the Colts. We were just happy to have warm laps to nap on this weekend.

  10. Rebelling against not enough noms is the usual rant around here.

When two teams are playing that you don't really care for that's when you just watch for the enjoyment of the game. Less pressure that way anyways. PeeEss cuddling with mum ramps up the enjoyment of the game!!

  11. You could have a practice rebellion and run around like MadCats...just for fun!

Mommy is nervous about Da Bears next weekend.

  12. You should hide the remote control by napping right on top of it -- that will drive the humans crazy!!

  13. Napping is lots of fun! We've heard that cats nap away 50% of their day. Us doggies nap ALMOST as much!

  14. We vote to rebel against not enough treats. We are napping most of the time too because all the heavy rain is back.

  15. Napping is my favorite pasttime!

We really don't have a favorite pro football team, but we like watching the games. We are really into college football more.

  17. It's good that humans don't take us cats for granted. Keeps them on their toes performance-wise.

  18. Life looks good there - I agree, don't rebel.

In our house we have to root for the Jets, since Dad used to have tickets to see their games, but Dad doesn't think they will win next weekend. Yay for the Packers!
