Tuesday, This and That

HiYa, Ducky here. Hope all of you are doing OK. I am sitting on mum waiting to get my share of treats tonight. She didn't share her ice cream earlier!
We saw a pretty blue bird this morning in our garden. Mum say it is a Indy Go Bunting. Wait mum says it is spelled Indigo. Ok, whatever. Isn't he cute!
Mum hauled this thing out of the dungeon, put paper in it and pressed the keys for a few minutes. Then it all locked up. Then she just said phooey on it and will neatly print out the forms she has to fill out. Mum calls this thing a typewriter, a pre-puter, puter thingy. She says it was Grampie's but it is so hard to actually type on it as the keys are stiff, not like a nice puter keyboard.
Behind the typey thing, you can see the grass that mum grew us. She hasn't done this in a long time. I like to nom it now and then.
Derby likes is more than I do. Gotta go, mum says she needs the puter to look some stuff up. See ya.

  1. That blue birdie looked yummy!

BTW, that machine is the strangest thing I've ever seen! How do you get on the internet on it?

  2. I've never seen one of those things but my mom says that long ago she was so thrilled when she got her first electric typewriter. I don't know. Some cats' moms.

You have such neat birds. We have a lot of hummers and robins here, and once I saw some little yellow and black bird I can't identify. Oh, and that fake gift roadrunner.

  5. Wow. Mom said she had one of those things when she was a lot younger. We do not see Indy Go Buntings around here. I agree with Sparkle, that bird looks yummy.

  6. Wow, look at that bird! The only kind of blue birds we have here are jays. This one is gorgeous. We wonder if he'd be extra tasty.

A typewriter! The mom hasn't seen one of those in a long, long time. She remembers her grandpa's old one, really old one. Antique then. LOL. She used to have fun playing with it when she was a little girl.

We're not sure how you'd blog with one of those, though! ;-D

  7. I like the bird. The Woman had one of those machines once but she no longer does because all she does is use the computer.

  8. Hi Ducky! Wow that is a cool bird! We haven't seen one that blue before. It had to be fun to watch.

Our mom said she learned to type on one of those things that your mom has - she said that she was terrible at it and likes the computer much more. And we kitties find it easy to push the computer keys so we think that it is probably better too.

And you are looking very handsome today Ducky!
