Garden Thursday

Hello and welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger.

Slowly making progress on spring. Mum did get some more raking done in the past week. Not quite done but making a lot of progress.

Mum did figure out what to do with her temperature sensor. She put it in a milk bottle!  She cut off the bottom, took fish line and taped it to the sensor and then the line is long enough to come out the top and then she put the cap back on to hold it. Then more fish line through the handle and hung it on the side of the grill.
So far as long as it doesn't get baked in the sun it seems to give good readings. If she is using the grill it doesn't make it read a funky hot temp. Mum may hang it somewhere else, but for now, this work.

  4. Clever idea for the temperature sensor! And that's a nice grill, too. We just got a new grill, but it isn't as nice as that one!
