Cats are the ultimate narcissists. You
can tell this by all the time they spend on personal grooming. Dogs aren't
like this. A dog's idea of personal grooming is to roll in a dead fish. -

HiYa, Ducky here. We had a decent week since Derby's purrthday, but he is in mum's doghouse! Friday night mum is all tired after a work week, she goes to crawl into the sleepy spot and the top sheet is all wet. Seems Mr YakMan crawled under the blankie and lost his cookies.
I helped mum clean it up and then she took the sheet off for the night and just slept under the blankie. Everything on bed got washed on Caturday.
While mum did work in the yard on Caturday morning she went off with Miss Lynn to see a show called "Shear Madness" in the afternoon. She laffed and laffed and says go see it if you can, it is a murder mystery and the audience gets to vote on who they think dun it!.
Mum did more outside stuff on Sunday, we had another super sunny and warm day. She even spent time just sitting. Probably the last time to have bare legs and arms for a long time.
Plus she grilled out, our fav meal, grilled beast and eggplant. Yes we got some!

The Pack - played on Sunday night against NOLA.First half, we scored, they made the same score. So tied at half time. Second half, well, not as good for The Pack. The other guys scored lots, The Pack, well not so much. So they go into the bye week in second place.
The Broncos - played last Thursday, they won. Mr Peyton had more touchdown passes to add to his record.
Oh, that is an EPIC yakking event...under the covers! No place is safe, bwahahahaha!
ReplyDeleteI haven't tried yackin on da bed yet.
ReplyDeleteWow, that was some job you did on the bed sheet!
ReplyDeleteWe bet your Mom was glad that you didn't yak on the floor instead.
MOL!
Bed yakking almost never happens here! And no kitty goes under the covers unless my human puts her there. She is hoping I am not taking notes here.
ReplyDeleteDerby - naughty! Your mum is very generous natured to have simply carried on without making a huge fuss about it.

There is a good reason to keep laundered sheets avilable at all times. sometimes..

That was a good one Derby! I have never yakked under the covers.
ReplyDeleteWe've never yakked under the covers! Nice touch, but we bet your mum grumbled a little about having to do the extra chore. Your grilled noms look dee-lish!
ReplyDeleteDerby, that is NOT a good idea! You know the phrase "Don't Bite the hand that feeds you?"
ReplyDeleteMy old bro Eddie did the same thing once! Somehow, my mom wasn't happy either. What is it with these moms?
ReplyDeleteYak in the bed? High paw for strategic placement!
ReplyDeleteWell, that was quite the yak attack! I did that once...the mom had to sleep with just the blanket. She wasn't too happy about it. We bet your mum wasn't either. You're lucky you both got some grilled beast after that. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat yak attack, Derby!
ReplyDeleteWe did it under the bed, but never under the covers ! What an interesting idea ! Purrs
ReplyDeletePoor Derby. We'r sure he didn't mean it. He was just feeling off…
ReplyDeleteGrilled beast! You lucky boys!
Purrs,
The Chans

ReplyDeleteYuck, that was an unpleasant surprise!
ReplyDeleteHappy end of Summer.
