Garden Thursday

Hello and Welcome to Garden Thursday with Virginger and Glimmer. We have had some warmer days and rain, so things are growing. The trees are leafing out so that makes things so much more lovely.

However we have had one tree that was almost deaded. So mum has reluctantly decided to take it down. This is what is still left. Mum will work to get this cut down soon.

The village people will be coming around to pick up brush next week, so that part of the tree they can haul away. The big pieces are easy to haul. Tiny bits of green on the tree, but 90% was dead.
Now for some bright colorful stuff. Two-lips, two-lips, two-lips.

While it may not be Sunday, mum helped us to do selfies the other night.

Mum got out the orinch feeder for the orinch birds that come around about now. We expect to see Mr and Mrs Baltimore Oriole really soon. So far the finches are snacking here.
That is all for now. Love, Virginger and Glimmer.

  5. Very pretty flowers. Sad about the tree, though. I wonder if there is a Bridge for them, too. We always get sad when a tree dies and birds and bugs and stuff have to find other places to live.

  6. Those tulips are very pretty. Too bad about the tree. But if it's a goner, it's best coming down.

  7. We especially love those yellow/red two-lips! We used to have lots of those (claims TBT), but there are only a couple left now.

And TBT agrees with the Tabbies, sometimes shoots grow from roots an the tree gets like a big shrub...
