Tuesday This and That

The week is going OK, mum didn't have to work furry late Monday to close out the month. She was happy about that. Tonight she got her eyes checked, they are all OK, but she can't see well due to dilation. Hey, be a cat we see good with dilated eyes!

Miss Megan from Sydney wondered what mum will do since the racy season is over for her. Well, there is always catching up on things around the house. Both inside and out. The back garden is a mess, and the girls agree with me on this one.
Mostly grass and weeds, so mum has her work cut out for her on this one. Time to get the weed wacker and weed spray going.

They there are the hobby like things, like crow-shay, she has yarn in the closet that she got last fall, so has the supplies on had to start a new blankie. Here is last year's blankie that went to a human sib of some of our cat blogging buddies.
The she has bought some new stuff so she can color. So markers and colored pencils.
Books with stuff to color, all sorts of designs including one with kitties. But the only thing she has done and finished is.....
this. Rather simple and not much to color, but hey it was her first time. She says she needs lots of down time to do this. She doesn't know how people have time to work on this all the time. Maybe they don't day hunt.

All warms and sticky this week.  Poor kids going back to school in the heat.

  3. Your Mom has lots of activities to keep her busy (besides her day-hunting gig!).
Tell her she did a great job on her coloring!

  4. Thank you for letting us in your mum's plans for the non-racy cars season. Terrific to see that she's got loads of interests. And tell her that if she doesn't look out the back windows for a while, those weeds will soon be covered by the snow and she won't have to do anything about them!

Adult colouring-in books are very 'on trend' at the moment. What does your mum plan to do with her finished pictures?

And, if I can ask one more question, how come you call your mum, 'Mum', spelled the Australian way, not the American way? Is your mum Australian? (Or British? or from New Zealand?)

  5. Your mum is going to keep herself busy! The colouring is pretty. I wondered about why you call her mum as well and keep meaning to ask.
