ManCat Monday

Kittens are born with their eyes shut. They open them in about six days, then take a look around, then close them again for the better part of their lives. - Stephen Baker.

HiYa, Ducky here. Happy New Year! Hope the new year has gotten off to a good start for all of you. Mum did stay up until midnight our time, but then went to the sleepy spot right after. She is feeling OK, guess it was just that one night that she didn't feel well.
Me napping in the sun on Sunday. Today mum says we will watch the Rosey Parade and then the feetsball game for Bucky Badger. Mum pulled out one of her crow-shay projects to work on, she says it keeps her hands bizzy while she watches the feetball games. Then she can't be eating.

Feetsball Report

The Pack -They win! They won the game and they won the NFC North! Woohoo. Me and mum knew they would be in the playoffs. Supposedly the team didn't want to know, it was ya gotta win the game or else. Plus ARodg is the QB with the most TD's this season.

They will play the Giant guys on the frozen tundra of Lambeau field on Sunday afternoon.

  2. We live only a few minutes from where the Rose Parade is, and all my human can think about is how glad she's going to be when it is over so she can go back to her favorite CVS and Vons market! Well, one person's annoyance is another's treasure, right? MOL!

  3. Our mom bean will be watching the guys chase the round plastic thingy on the ice. At least she doesn't yell at the noisy box when she does.

Have a great Monday Ducky and mom!

  4. We're glad your Mom is feeling better! Our Dad watched some of the Rose Bowl parade, we think because when he was a teen, he marched in it as part of a high school band. Have a good day and stay toasty!

  6. Yep, our mom was in bed about 3 minutes after midnight. She had to wait for the noisy fireworks to subside before she could sleep, though! Happy New Year to you all!

  8. We think your Mom is pretty talented, Ducky (and you too of course! I mean, just look at that championship napping form!)

We is glad the Pack is doing well--as we've said, the Human has lots of family in Milwaukee--and that stoopy Santa Clara team is dead to her now.)

Happy Mew Year, Ducky and Mom!
