Throw Back Thursday

Happy Thursday to all. We actually had sun yesterday and with our warms and rain there are big puddles about. This is on the other side of the trail, our yard doesn't have puddles but is very squishy when mum walks outside. She tries to stay off the grass, but she needed to fill up the fevver feeders.
Today's post is from back in 2007. Derby was sitting on the old moving picture box which had a bigger top to sit on. Now the box has a bigger picture, but isn't big enuf to sit on.

Fang Shui Friday

You can absorb energy from many sources in the home. The television is excellent for this purpose, provided your tail dangles downward over the screen.

From Fang Shui by Catfucious, Peter Pauper Press, 2002.

Hmmm, I have been on top of the big machine with moving pictures. But mum hasn't caught me with my tail in front of it. I must be doing something wrong and not getting good ch'i.
Mum was up late one night watching this funny person on the box. Below it is just me and some of her small white things she brings out when it is cold outside. Mostly around Christmas, they have all gone back into hiding.

  1. I think with the new boxes, Ducky, the name of the game is to sit right in front of them. If your mum's set-up at home doesn't allow you to do this either, then your only option is to sit right up on her chest with your face next to hers. That's almost certain to interrupt her view!

  2. Wow, you mean there were TVs that kitties could sit on back in the olden days? Why did they stop making them that way - were the TV builders dog people or something?

  6. Now that's the type of moving picture box you can sit on. Nowadays, the new ones you can't sit on.
