ManCat Monday

There are few things in life more heartwarming than to be welcomed by a cat. - Tay Hohoff

I don't always meet mum at the door when she comes home. Derby used to do that all the time. He would sit in the front window and then jump down to greet her at the door. What I do like to do if she is gone for a longer time, as soon as she sits down, I am in her lap!

We had a quiet but rainy weekend. Mum did her usual chores, watched a bit of bracketball. Plus we did our usual fevver watching. That was interesting, we had a huge bird land on our fence. It was a turkey! Mum saw two of them.

Mum took this the other day, when it was sunny. I was licking up the remains of her brekkie plate. Just a touch of butter on it.

Have a good week.

  3. Mmmm, butter. Wow! That's a big bird! Are you sure it's a bird? Aren't birds supposed to be little and you know, catch-able? That one looks bigger than three cats!

  4. Sometimes we welcome #1 and sometimes we don't. It depends on whether we are busy napping!

  10. Thank cod the turkeys aren't around here. Our mom would be doing her turkey impression, which always scares us to death!

  11. Meowser, those are some big birds. Did you invite them to stay for dinner?

Speaking of, that's why we meet mom bean at the door in the evening. We have to remind her it is our dinner time!

    Have a great week!
