ManCat Monday

Cats' hearing apparatus is built to allow the human voice to easily go in one ear and out the other.  - Stephen Baker

The weekend is over but the marvy weather continues. Lots of sunshine and warmish temps. Mum could go outside to get the fevvers fed and not even put on a jacket. She was outside chatting with the maybors for a long time too on Caturday  afternoon.

OK, now some of you have said mum should have brought me home some of the duck. Sort of duck for Ducky. Mum thinks that would be rude to ask her host for that, to say, hey save some food for my cat. Heck, there are peoples that need to eat and they come first. Plus wouldn't eating this make me be a cannibal?

Feetsball Report

The Pack - well,  they looked like they were ready for prime time for a change and played a really good team in the Steelers. They actually were leading during the first half. Then again during the second half they were ahead. It was tied up until right at the end when the Steelers kicked a field goal as time expired. Best game so far for the subQB the new Brett.

Everyone have a good week! Four weeks to Christmouse!

  1. Maybe one of these days, your human will make a duck just for you, Ducky.

  2. I didn't want your mum to behave rudely to her hosts, Ducky. I just thought that it would have occurred to them that it would be fun to send home some leftover duck for you. And no, that wouldn't make you a cannibal: you might be ducky, but you're definitely a pusscat, not a duck.

As Summer suggested, perhaps you mum could make it up to you (LOL) by cooking you a duck all to yourself. And if that's a lot to ask of her, perhaps you could settle just for some duck breast or a leg or something smaller.

  3. Don't feel bad, Ducky. We didn't get any turkey brought home to us either!

  4. What's in a name, Ducky? Just 'cause you are called Ducky, doesn't make you a duck *quack quack*, so you can eat duck meat to your heart's desire.

  7. We've had some nice weather lately too, Ducky. Not warm enough to have the windows open, but the mom and dad were out putting up Christmas decorations and filling the bird feeders and stuff like that.

  8. Glad you are enjoying warm weather Ducky. It will make the winter feel shorter. It has been mild here as well, but turned very cold now with lots of hail and sleet. We don't often get snow though.

  9. All we got were ham leftovers. Mom went to two Thanksgiving feasts and no one served turkey.

  10. Mmmm, warm weather. We could use a touch of that here. Our Mom would ask for some duck anyway. She's annoying that way, but hey! Duck!
