She went to play with racy cars on Friday, but only for the one day. They had rain, thunder and lightening in the AM. Then after lunch they had this wild looking cloud come at them. The cloud passed, then the wind picked up, changed direction and it got much cooler. After this passed then the weather got nice for the rest of the day. Plus we had more rain overnight.
Our pal Minchie of Cat-A-Holic was helped to The Bridge. He was in kidney failure, like Derby was. So we send comforting purrs to his mum Peggy. We know what she is going through with his sisfur Laila.
Sounds like you have a lot of mum time coming this weekend, Ducky! That should be fun.

I am sad that another long time friend has gone to the Bridge.

Yup, hot here as well. Yeah, we know all too well how it is having to deal with the kidney stuff. Mom and dad still miss dear Orbit terribly, and they're having to be careful with my diet as there are concerns about my kidneys as well. It's a tough thing that so many felines (and their loving humans, of course) have to go through.
