Mini-ManCat Monday

Cats are kindly masters, just so long as you remember your place.

 Mum's place is sitting with me on her lap. She can be napping, working on crow-shay or reading. Miss Megan asked about the stack of books last week. Yep, mum reads lots. Last year 181 books! If you know her on FaceBooking she posts pics of her books that she gets. I decided I will let her post some here too. 

 Mum doesn't buy books. She used the library, saves her lots of green papers. She can then use those green papers on me!

Also, mum reads lots of books by the same author and they sometime do need to be read in order. The best place she has found to figure this out is here. Books In Order.

 The books above are what she was reading at the beginning of 2021. Biggify if you need to read the titles better. Just cuz mum checked out the book doesn't mean she actually read the whole thing. Sometimes she starts it, doesn't like it and just quits. Moves on to the next one. 

Starting this Wednesday I am going to let mum put pics up of her books. So stop back on Wednesday.

Feetsball Report

The Stouper Bowl teams are set. The Cincinnati Bengals and their young QB are in, along with the LaLa Land Rams. Mum is thinking she wants the young guy to win it all in two weeks.

Mini-ManCat Monday

Cats allow us to love them, for which we should be duly grateful.

I get lots of loves from mum, plus lots of you who loves me from afar online. I loves getting loves! Mum posted the below pic during the week while she worked on a blankie. Lots of you loved me! Oh, and the blankie too. Mum is taking it easy with the blankie making these days. Her shoulder was getting wonky and she found it hard to find a good position to sleep. So took some days off and limiting how long she crow-shays. No more doing it every day and during all of the feetsball games.

So what is mum doing with her time? Yeah, reading. You see that big pile of books behind me? Yeah, she is hitting the books again. Brought home ten, still two getting brought in from other libraries. She was going to pick them up on Friday, then the library closed cuz they had a huge water leak, which damaged a big meeting room. Mum got the books on Caturday instead. 

Mum went and cheated on me again. She went back to Orca's house to return a dish. She got to see Orca again and this time Dakota too. She was surprised how big Dakota is now. He was just about 6 months old when she cat sit for them. The pic below is from when he was younger.

Feetsball Report

What a crazy weekend. With the exception of the last game it didn't pay to be the home teams. Mum was happy that the Bengals won. Happy Tampa Bay and Mr Brady lost. She was up in the air about Bills and Chiefs. She liked both teams and the went crazy scoring at the end of the game. 

The Pack - sheesh, home field advantage, cold temperatures with a team from Catifornia. Special teams, well, they didn't do good. Ya gotta be able to kick the ball properly and score. Or not let the other team score on a kick. ARodg can watch from home again this year. Maybe his last year as a member of the Pack. 

Down to four teams, mum isn't sure who she wants to go to the Stouper Bowl. 

Mum is being careful, you all be careful too.

Hello Gang. Me and mum have had a quiet week. Mum didn't do much other than get together with two furiends for a lunch at home. Plus they watched the Harry Potter reunion film. Plus mum cheated on me with another kitty Orca. Mum has cat sit for him afore. Mum says he is furry chonky now and it was hard to pick him up. Plus he sat on her boobities and she said she was so much heavier than I am. Here is a couple of pics of Orca from 2019.

 Caturday we had snow, but so light it was like living in a snow globe. Plus we had sunshine to soak up some rays.

My team had the weekend off and mum watched some of the games What she was happiest about was that the CowGirls lost, which means The Pack will play then 49er's next weekend. Not sure what day we will play. 

Lots of feetsball means that mum also got lots of crow-shay done. Almost done with the next blankie.

Mini-ManCat Monday

We cats don't always ignore people, we just choose our own time to pay attention. 

Still cold, but not much snow on the ground. What we can tell is that the daylight hours are getting longer. We have only gained like a minute on our latest sunrise. Sunset is like 20 minutes later and we can still see things around 5 PM. By the end of the month sunset will be later than 5 PM. 

 Enjoying the morning sunshine, soak up some warms through the window, plus a little time to clean my machine. 

Mum caught me in the kitch-hen licking the foil that she had heated up her chick-hen wings for lunch. She was supposed to go to a Packer watching party but that got cancelled cuz of the virus. Maybe next year!

Feetsball Report

The Pack - did not take advantage of the longer season to win their 14th game in a season. They didn't play the first string players all game, so the B team got a chance. Even so they losted to the Detroit Kittens. They already are the number 1 seed for the playoffs, so they partially rested the good guys. Plus they get next weekend off. 

I don't like to bring this back but it is needed.

Mini-ManCat Monday

You don't train cats, they train you.

It is an never ending thing trying to train a human. Mum can learn, but sometimes I thinks she forgets far too easy. 

Mum picked up and stored all of the Christ-mouse stuff yesterday. My little sparkly tree is back in its storage box in the dungeon. The other little trees she got were put into the big plastic boxes she got last week. She still has the door wreath to put away, but that is a quick and easy thing to do. 

When she put things away she got out these little white snow people. Yeah, now that we have snow on the ground the snow people can come to stay for the snow season.

Here you can see the snow, but mum took it to study the bird bath holder. The sqwerls get up there and drink, then when they jump off they knock it over. It appears that a fitting is broken. So mum will have to see if she can fix it. You know she is good at fixing things. Although fixing things in the cold might be a bit of a challenge. 

You can see me sitting on mum watching feetsball and trying to work on the latest blankie. Newest colors are a blend of black and cream and grey.

Yeah mum I will pin you in your chair and you will give me love!

Feetsball Report

The Pack -  Played the ViQueens on Sunday Night Feetsball on the frozen tundra of Lambeau field. Both teams got off to a slowish start. Then ARodg and company got it in gear and started to score. Heck they were so far ahead towards the end of the game they let the backup guy play!

Winning last night assures them of being the number 1 seed for the playoffs. So the road to the Stouper Bowl goes through Green Bay. It also means they get a week off to watch everybody else play. Next week is the final game of the season in Dee-Troit!

HiYa Ducky here! Happy Mew Year! Happy Caturday!

Woot, we made it to a new year, hope all of you cellybrated but not too much. Mum did her usual and was in bed long afore the clock struck midnight. You know old ladies don't usually stay up late! Although mum did stay up late on Thursday watching Bucky Badger play feetsball. They won and it was after midnight afore the game was over.

So did you make any resolutions? Me and mum usually don't but we have come to an agreement on one thing that starts this year. 

I am only going to do a blog post on Monday for Mini-ManCat Monday. We don't do that much around here so we figure we can keep you up to date once a week. We were thinking about stopping totally but I convinced mum that my furiends and fans need to keep seeing me. 

 I want all of my family and furiends to stay safe and healthy this coming year. I think all of us are getting tired of the pandemic stuff. We don't like people getting sick and dying. We want all to be healthy and happy.
