Nip Nana

Mum was gone most of the weekend. She came home looking tanner and pinker in spots on her face and arms. She also had a big smile on her face. I think she had a good time with her friends.

So when she got home Sunday evening, she brought in her bag, the cooler, the newsy paper and the mail. But she just put the mail down on the table and I sensed that something good was in one of the envelopes. So I pulled it off the table and started to play with it.
So mum picked up the envelope and looked at it. It had a warning on it. Contains catnip. Yes, I could tell that so I wanted to play with it. Plus mum read the address and it was my pressies from Bonnie and Victor in MadTown. Mum I need your fingers and thumbs to get this open. Please, mum open the package for me.
So she got the package open and dumped out the things inside. There were several things that you can see, a fevver butt mousie, blue glitter ball and another fuzzy ball. But what I wanted was that yellow thing. A Nip Nana!
Oh I could hug that really well and started to hug it and lick and drool all over it. I picked it up and carried it to where I could just enjoy the nip on my own.
You can click on the pictures to bigify them and sorry they are a bit blurry. But I wasn't holding still and posing for mum to take pictures. Plus I did play with the other toys. The fevver butt mousie ended up by her bed by morning, the glitter ball I took to the dungeon where mum found it tonight, the little multicolored ball ended up by the front door.

Thank you Bonnie and Victor. I really like my pressies.

Monday night mum came home from work and pushed the grass eating monster all around the yard for a long time. So our grass is getting long enough to have the machine eat it. Plus we have been having noisy thunder boomers, so it isn't going to be easy to sleep for a while.
