ManCat Monday

God allows cats in heaven just so he can keep an eye on them. - Dixie Carter
I did a lot of napping this weekend. It was cool again, so the windows weren't open much. I did get in some fevver watching as well. Some of the baby birds have hatched and are getting big enough to leave the nest.

Mum was around most of the weekend, doing the normal stuff that she does on the weekend. But last night she lefted around dinner time and said she was going to meet Chey's mum? All that way to the left coast? Oh, guess her human is visiting nearby and they meet for dinner. Mum brought a box home so that means I will get something to eat soon from that box.

Mum said that a bunch of the humans got together this past weekend in a Shy-town. She sorry she couldn't make it, she had to be around with her work puter during the weekend for day hunting duties at month end. Maybe next time.

  1. Fevver watching is a lot of fun. I think we have baby birds, too. Some birds have been building a nest in the corner of our carport for the last few years and I think I saw a tiny head sticking out from it yesterday. I hope there is something really good in that box. It's really neat that your Mom got to meet Chey's Mom.

  2. That is good that your mum got to meet her pals.

I love to watch feathers too. This weekend has been hot and I have been out in the yard with mum and dad. Mum was watching me close as there are a lot of new baby birds just with their mums. Mum didn't want me getting one.Ohh WHY...

    Hugs GJ x

  5. Derby, we would gladly share some of our nice weather with you ... now that it is June it should be warm, so it's just not fair that it is still cool there. It is really pawsome that your Mum was able to meet Chey's Mom, and we hope your doggy bag, whoops we mean kitty bag, has some good eats in it for you!

  7. How cool she got to meet Cheys mom!!!
We think you are just lovely on your Gizzy Quilt!
Re your comment on our blog: Momma cat doesn't mind sharing the deck with Scooby & Shaggy. It is quite strange but we think because they are neutered, she doesn't perceive a threat to the kittens from them. Everyone just keeps their own "space" and all is fine!

  11. That was exciting for your mum and Chey's mum to meet up.
We have blackbirds that have built a nest in our hedge. We keep climbing up and looking in, and mum keeps yelling at us. We told her we are only checking if the babies have hatched yet.
