ManCat Monday

Cats have the ability to find comfort in virtually any environment. - Author Unknown

Yeah I have a brofur now. Ducky mum calls him. QUACK! QUACK! QUACK!. He makes all sort of squeaks, chirps and such, mum says he purrs lots.

Caturday mum did a bunch of running around, then when she got home she got my porch out and I went inside.
Then she let the little runt cruise around the rest of the house while I had to watch.
Finally she took the squirt back into her sleepy spot, but then she put me in the carrier and took me into that room, then let me out! So we sort of got along for a bit, but mum didn't let us be together for very long.

Caturday night she got us together again, that little twerp went for my throat! So I went back at him. Sunday mum brought him out and put him in the porch while she used the sucking monster. I collapsed the porch on top of him, hehehe. He is now back in quarantine.
He is a bit of a strange duck! He plays with his Greenies treats before he eats them. He does that around me I will eat them on him. So here is a moovie with him.

He's pretty cute Derby, we hope you two become good friends. He's silly to play with his Greenies! We eat them before they even have a chance to hit the floor.

Maximus Spittimus would like to welcome Ducky.

He also would like to say that DJ, Scampi, The Bumbles and the late CJ just sniffed him when he arrived here. The Bumbles batted him on the head just so he knew who was boss.

little brofurs can be fun. Sorry he wented for your throat - they does that sometimes. they're just testing you to see if they can be alpha cat. Just stand your ground and he will back down. Tell your mom not to be nervous if you two don't get along great for a while - it's normal.

Sounds like the first meetings went well. It takes some time for every cat to get adjusted to one another.

Good luck, doood. I still don't have Buddah trained the way I want. It's like he thinks he deserves an opinion on things...

You'll be a great big brother, Derby. Ducky looks very nice.

Now Derby, just calm down. We know you're a little upset right now, and that both you guys need a period of adjustment, but we know everything will work out fine. It just takes time. After you get to know each other, we know you'll agree that having a brother is a good thing.

Hi Derby and Ducky! We all hope you get along soon! Of course we don't all really get along, so we guess that we are a bit hypocritical. But we know our mom wishes we would get along, so we are sure your mom wants that too!

And we think it is hilarious that you collapsed the porch on top of your new brother Derby - that is a classic move!

Hello Ducky! Hey, Derby you are being very nice to your new sibling! Siblings can be lots of fun...you just have to train them up.

We loved the video. Mom remembers well how hard it was to introduce me to Siena. But she didn't seperate us nor toook it easy, she just let us together after half an hour. It's far better to take some time doing this.
You two look GOOD together!
