Mum let the little runt out of his quarentine tonight and let him wander around the main part of the house. I pretty much stay on him the whole time, chasing and wrassling with him. At one point I made him yelp, them mum put him back into the sleepy room. Now I have mum to myself on the couch. But I am sure she will go and spend time with him tonight and watch 'Lympics.
Last night Mum has us together for about an hour in the sleepy room. Since we didn't have as much room not much chasing, but lots of wrassling. I even ate his foods for him since he still had crunchies in his bowl.
Mum did finish her knitting project the other night, but still has to finish off all of the ends on the back side where the color changes.
Hey that little runt is all over the place, this is my blog, my picture should be here.
Yeah, my life is upside down these days!
Hi Sweetie....maybe in time you and the "little runt" will be great friends!
ReplyDeleteWrassling is good fun, just be gentle with him. You'll find it is good to have a brother.
ReplyDeleteGetting used to a new cat takes time but it is fun to wrassle!
ReplyDeleteSounds like y'all are startin' to get along a little bit better now! Yay for that!!!

But don't you love having a buddy?
ReplyDeleteAt least he's not a crybaby sister.

Wow Derby, yoo gots a brofur? Dat's cool. Give him some time and yoo might figger out it's fun to haf a frend...or yoo can just use him to blame fur all da "aksidental" bad stuff.
ReplyDeleteSounds like you two are starting to get along pretty good...wrassling has that effect!
ReplyDeleteWe have a feeling the 2 of you will wind up getting along very well.
ReplyDeleteYou're a cutie, Ducky!
ReplyDeleteAnd don't worry Derby, you'll be best pals in no time.
I remember those days, only I was sick on top of everything. has Ducky tried to ride you like a pony? Buddah tried that with me. And they wonder why I don't like him...
ReplyDeleteI love the matcahbility of the two of you. Have fun!
ReplyDeletehm... little bruvvers are annoying i guess. but you has to get used to him for your mommeh, so try your bestest to handle it. you seem like you are doing okay so far - not your fault he's a yelpie baby when you rassle.
ReplyDeleteDerby, the new brother sounds very annoying, except for the part where you got to eat his food.
ReplyDeleteYou know, Derby old friend, look at it this way. There is an upside to this whole thing 'cause you've been elevated to the position of Senior Cat now, and I can speak from authority that it's the best position to be in! You get to teach your younger brother the way things are done in your house. And after a time Ducky will idolize you, just like Max does me!

Derby! You've got a new brother! Man, go away a little bit and miss everything. I think your mommy should get you one of the awesome things she got me. Yours could have a roof on it to keep Ducky in.
ReplyDeleteI'm sure once he knows that you are the big brother and King of the Castle, he'll be a good snuggle friend. You can do the Great Backyard Bird Count together next year!
Well Derby...it sounds like you are starting to like the "Little Runt". And it is nice to have somecat to play with now and then.

Those little guys have a way of worming their way in to everything...Be strong!
ReplyDeleteHaving a sibling is fun! You'll get used to him, Derby!
ReplyDeleteSounds like you're getting used to each other. It's going to be fun for you to have a rassling buddy.
ReplyDeleteLife can seem upside down with new brothers! But it sounds like you are teaching him who is the boss..wrestling always helps.
ReplyDeleteYou two are going to be great friends and before long you won't even mind sharing your blog with him.
ReplyDeleteHIya Ducky it's nice to meetcha. You're gonna love your big brother.

Oh Derby, we think you will start to like Ducky soon. It just takes a little while to get used to each other.
ReplyDeleteOh, Derby, we feel so bad for you! But we think in time you will find he is a lot of fun and that you can both share your mom.
ReplyDeleteI think that wrassling would be fun!
ReplyDeleteThe little runt situation will get better...just look at Teego and Freya, or Joey Cartwright over at Whiskers and Purrs.
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting our blog and stopping by for Sukki's birthday party...Derby and Ducky are very cute and will be the best of friends in time...Mom used Feliway plug ins when Sukki first arrived and it seemed to help soothe our nerves while getting to know each other...Good luck!...xo...Calle, Halle, Sukki
