Garden Thursday

::three paw taps::

Hello and Happy Garden Thursday. Virginger here with a short and quick tour of the garden. It has been cool and rainy here this past week. The garden is sort of between the spring stuff and the summer stuff.
The one pee-o-knee not fully bloomed and some pink columbine off to the left.
Our one and only poppy flower that we got this year. It didn't last long with the rain either. Mum says she needs to move the poppy plants. The daylily plants have over taken them so you can barely see them.

The boys are doing well inside. I see mousies and such out here, but we just let each other be. Outside is space we can all share.See you all next week for Garden Thursday.

  1. We saw that the poppy dint like all the rain, so we thought we would offer a suggestion. Iffen ya got some plants that like less water than others, ya can dig them up, put a circle of edging arount them an plant them a bit higher than the others. The water drains faster that way.

    On the other paw, TBT sometimes just keeps plantin differnt stuff until they all survive with the same water and sun. We gotta admit that is easier. All he has to do THEN is buy more of them.

  9. Well, it may be only one poppy, but it's a pretty one! Poppies (not 'zackly like this one though) are California's state flower so there's lots of them round here (well, not in San Francisco, but in other places, MOL!)

    Hope your pee-o-knees bloom some more soon!
